- 2005-06-04 02:17:52 Well, all I have to say is despite my previous thoughts....today turned out REALLY well......I had a grand total of 4 energy drinks ^_^ Those managed to keep me happy enough to go to a social gathering at a friends after school.....were we did stupid stuff.....like buy a torch for $2 and run up and down the street with it...it was grand fun. I now look forward to watching Star Wars tomorrow with my girlfriend ^_^ Also, I finished today by attempting to apologize to a friend...or at least once was...that is to be determined...... Now....to sleep...I am very very tired..(the only downside to energy drinks -_-)

Well...this is gonna be more of a personal entry
**First note that I hate drugs and everything of the sort..my friends know this well....and Meg and I were good childhood friends**
Today I had 5 friends over and we were having a grand time, then we all went for a walk down the creek....
Me=doesnt do drugs
Alison-doesnt do drugs
Pat=doesnt do drugs
Trevor=not on drugs or so I thought
Meg=drug free
Ally=starting to quit *thumbs up*
Well, near the end of our long walk....Trevor pulls out a nice joint so thus, everyone stops.....he and Meg light up....thus, Alison, Ally, Pat and I leave.
They quicky catch up and Meg seeks my imediate forgiveness...in which the rest of us abruptly leave Trevor and Meg to do whatever.
Not only did this ruin the entire day, but also destroyed many friendships....Ally who hardly knows both Meg and Trevor...felt it was all her fault as it was her light they used. PAt felt bad because he and Ally are seeing each other and she was really sad.....for the remainded of the time spent at my house...Ally spoke twice...and both times to decline some food or drink. Alsion and I tryed to put it away and just play some darts.....Alison is a friend of a friend and after tonight she feels more of a friend then both Meg and Trevor.................so anyways...now that I am feeling slightly better...I log on MSN and both immediatly attempt to apologize.....me being me....have little tolerance for immediate apologies and would rather leave things to time.............this arguemnt is still continuing now, I doubt I will ever look at them the same way
Anyways...new rant......no hockey this year=boring, no betting on the playoffs, uumm....yes...more AMV rants now.....firstly...newbs
I still myself may be a newb after watching my videos, but a year at this site has educated me greatly.....
I know that despite the fact that they are very good, many AMV's are highly overated...like Euphoria....newbs come to this site and flock to the top 10%....having seen nothing else as good compiared to it, it gets all 10's. Plus....the amount of new AMV;s made are mostly WMV....I still use Movie Maker but am increasing my own skills. Some editors learn to use it very well like "Krillin the Villain' and his Anime Polka 2004. I understand I have done this...but just throwing together something in an hour sucks....spend enough time to learn. Benners even...using paint to crush a picture into an unviewable thing and adding random color are defiently unworthy....why try? Even some amazing banners dont get voted....many by Hinatsan who still has plently worthy though ^_^ All in all...newbs....we need to practise.
Well, its time to get some sleep after this miserable day and soon to be entire weekend....so yeah...should you be reading this Meg, I still havent forgiven you despite what you've said.

Guh....Im getting really tired of the lack of originality here on the Org....its time for another rant and today it shall be about jsut that. So many new AMVs here on the Org are one of the following
Inu yasha-----which I dont really care for
FMA----------past readers know my opinion on this...'crap' to put it lightly
Naruto---------I like it but all the AMV's are the same now
Linkin Park----I came to the Org liking them a bit.....not anymore and its not wonder why....they were overkilled.....and even now people still use it
Cowboy Bebop--still makes for a good video if done properly
Evangelion------Still awesome for videos as long as its an experienced editor and some first timers AMV
Love Hina-----You've seen one AMV of it youve seen them all
Hellsing-------Shoot, Shoot, Kill, Kill....seen one youve seen it all
Blood---------A 40 minute video leaves much to be desired
Thats pretty much it. I may still be a newb in terms of making AMV's but any of the following should be docked MUCH originality. The odd good AMV crops up here and there but theres is a thing called "Too Much Of A Good Thing" Thats one reason why after I upload my other 2 newb AMV's, Im gonna begin some completly almost original projects. Ya....thats all for now
*Note*--Please dont take any offence to this....its just the easiest way for me to get my opinion out there without going to the massivly huge, already filled with pointless threads.
- FMA Crazy 2005-05-10 16:37:40 Holy fuck....its as though the entire org has gone Full Metal Alchemist crazy. Every 3rd new banner is FMA....so many new AMV's are FMA....even a bunch on the top 10% this year alone are FMA......I hate FMA so much, Ill never dl any AMV's and any banner is instantly reated unworthy untill the org calms down.
