Oh man, that Monochrome MAD was the most awesome thing I've ever seen. EternalDreamS2 was very good, but it's no comparison to this...
The bumper for this says it is by The Shingei Factory. I'm not familiar with the different creators of MADs, but this person/group has ALOT of talent. I'm off to look for anything else of theirs....

I must admit that I am quite impressed. That would have taken quite a bit of work to put together. That person is quite talented, and has much free time on his/her/their hands...^_^'
I so need to get After Effects. I bet it is just so releasing from the boundries Premiere has. What can't you do with After Effects???
I want a MAD to call my own. I need to get some researching done, and learn more about these mysterious MADs. Once I understand them a little bit better I will be ready to embark on the journey of creating my own. I've always enjoyed the FX, and rhythm parts of AMVs more than drama, and plot. Since I've only seen one, I can't say if they all follow the same pattern, but EternalDreamS2 didn't seem to have any plot, or drama, . Just FX, and awesome timing. Two things I am fairly capable of doing. I'm not sure how could really include a plot when you are just using still images for the majority of footage.
I have another dl'ing. Can't read the whole name of it, only the ending. Monochrome. I'm hoping that this is a MAD done to Monochrome by Ayu, and Monochrome isn't just the title. Watashi wa 'Monochrome' ga daisuki desu kara...

Well now, it's been quite a while since I was here. I wonder what all I missed? I have alot of catching up to do now that this semester is just about over. I have my Art 33 final Monday, then I am done. I just aced my programming final this morning, did fairly decent on my math final last Monday, and aced my Japanese final the Tuesday and Wednesday before that. Yes, it was a 2 day long test. First day was kanji, vocab, and particles, second day was sentence composition, and listening comprehension...
But anyways, I had to take a break from anything fun for a while after I sort of starting screwing up in my classes. That 79 on my second japanese test sort of opening my eyes, and I decided to take break from everything except work and school. I've been catching up though, this last week. I finally got the Lain doll in her pajamas, plus I bought the hitomi huma-rhythm live tour 2002 DVD, Shinobi for PS2, Lilo and Stitch DVD(^_^),and the Kenshin movie, or Samurai X: The Motion Picture as it is so titled, but I perfer to call it the Kenshin movie myself. Yes, that's quite a bit of cash to shell out in about a 2 weeks time, but since I never really bought anything after the second half of this semester, I figure I could spare the cash...^_^;
Now that I'm back I guess it's time to debut a new vid. I'll try and get one in here pretty soon, like before January 6 when the Spring semester starts. I still have the first 1:30 or so of my Eva vid, and Shinkakuruu. Problem is it's been so long since I've even opening Premiere that I'm just not sure I want to start halfway through a vid. I'm looking for a nice fresh vid here, so I'll see what pops up...
Now, I'm off to just caught up in the forums, browse through some other members past journal entrys, and see what's been happening in my absence...

I seriously need something to work on. It's hard to not have any vids in progress, and not even trying to plan any new vids. All the talk about AWA, and the vids I've seen from the DDR project are getting me worked up. I want to start a new vid, but aside from my DDR F(t)tR vid, I don't have anything else to work on, and just really don't feel like diving into that right now. I just want something simple and fun that I can do in about a week. Maybe a little 2:00 minute song or something. I haven't had anything new since Onyou. I started an Eva vid that I got 1:30 into before it started boring me to death, and then I started the Shamanic F(t)tR vid that I was 2:00 into before I lost interest in it. I have one final mid-term Thursday, then I will be stress free, because Fall break starts next Wednesday, and I won't have any tests or programs due after thrusday. I do actually have something in mind. There are 2 instrumental tracks on Ayu's "I am..." that are each about a minute long. I'm thinking I might take the first and make a cool little action vid out of it..........

So where have I been then? All I really need to say is MID-TERMS. Just finished my japanese mid-term, math is monday, and programming midterm is thursday. I've also been working alot more, and spending more time hanging around the jpopmusic.com forum. That along with a general boredom of the amv world right now, and the fact that I'm actually getting a 'real' life is why I haven't been here. Not to say that amv creators don't have lives. I'm sure some do, but I didn't. That's why I came here every break I had from classes. Now that I have a pretty good group of friends here on campus, I spend break hanging out with them...
I missed the Nekocon deadline. I had Onyou ready to be sent out, sitting on my desk, but forgot to actually mail it off(baka!!!). I haven't done any editting to Shinkakuruu, or any editting to anything in general. Like I was saying, I'm just bored with the whole thing right now. During the summer when I had time to work on vids it was easy, but it's hard to edit a vid when you can only work for about an hour or so every other day. I can't hold my attention long enough to finish anything. I'll get started and few weeks later be bored with it.

I'm just going to call it quits for a while...
It's ashame, I really wanted to get F(t)tR out soon, but I don't have any motivation right now. I'll get it done when the time is right....
