Yup, twas Christmas. There was not a single sign of snow on Christmas Eve, nor before I went to bed on Christmas morning (3 am or so). Then I woke up and there was two inches. Magic. We've only had one other snow this year so far, and it lasted on the ground for about a week. Nevertheless, the temp has been below zero for a few days now.
This was an abnormal Christmas, but not altogether unpleasant. We didn't have money for presents, but my mom did fill "stockings" for us... which were actually paper bags filled with various chocolates, and we couldn't open them in the morning because she was hiding them until she woke up (3 pm). Then we made homemade pizzas and watched The Bourne Supremacy, which was a satisfyingly unspectacular action flick.
Going to Minnesota in a few days, probably. Then off to my dad's in KC... where I may meet up with J-0080 for a day. These plans could joyously fall through if I magically get a job or some such thing. - 2004-12-25 11:44:37 Merry Christmas to all and to all a merry Christmas.
