Listening to the new Evergrey. Awesome stuff. Takes a few listenings, but it's great. They've still got their traditional dark sound, just as heavy, and just as moody/angsty. But it's more than angst, it's divine suffering. XD God I love these guys. Englund and Danhage are two of the best metal guitarists ever.

Also heard the new Megadeth album. <3 Also great stuff. A kick in Metallica's face if there ever was one. This is how you make metal.

Well, I went out to see Spiderman 2 today, at about 1 pm. That was awesome. Even better than the first. Then we went out to eat, and I went straight to work after that.
Then some of my high school friends dropped by my work to see when I got off. Turns out they wanted to go see Fahrenheit 9/11 at 10, and knew I was interested. I got off at 10... so I told my manager I was leaving at 9, and she had no problem.
So I got back from that and watched some Family Guy. However.
Fahrenheit 9/11 was awesome. It was everything I'd thought it'd be, and more. I'd heard it was full of discrepencies, so I was prepared. I did see a bunch of things that could be stretches or even fabrications, but most were tiny details. The overall message is what I found engaging because it's what I've believed for a damn long time. Really puts me in an introspective mood. And if they do reinstate the draft (with no college exemptions, like they say) I could be one of those soldiers out there dying for something I can't believe in. I'd rather serve prison time. Building off greed to actualize an imaginary problem... I can't, with any part of my being, morally let that slide without doing something. They fed us lies, and it's only serving to create the problem they wanted us to fear.
However, I don't feel that any of you who don't agree with me are going to be dissuaded from me expressing any of my political views. -

FF6 is such a great game.
In other news, I get to walk to work tomorrow. I normally don't mind, but it's been so damn hot lately. Oh well; I'll live.
