Alright, I asked AD to lock that thread. Some people obviously took it in a completely different light than it was meant to be taken. It was nothing I didn't anticipate, but they probably achieved their goal.
Hopefully, I will soon be in the position of repaying everyone that donated (and then some) and also donating to the Org. Thanks to everyone who has tried to help me, I won't forget it. ^_^ -

There was a huge storm last night, and stupid me had my computer and internet running. Lightning struck close by, and BOOM my modem and speakers are fried. That sets me back about $100. And then, apparently, the hospital wasn't done charging me. This one's more just a thorn in my side, but it's still annoying. They charged me $72 more. I'm not exactly sure what for; the bill says it's for the x-rays but I thought they'd already charged me.
On top of that, the storm gave me about an inch of water in my room.
I haven't bought speakers yet, and I'm not sure I'm going to. It'll suck going without a lot of my music, but I suppose I can manage. The modem was about $55, because it's external, but $25 of that was from a gift card I got a long time ago. And I'm going to charge my brother (whose modem was friend by a storm a few weeks ago) $15 if he wants to switch on and off. Which basically means I paid $15 for an external modem. Not too bad, except that it seems to keep disconnecting me.
And I work noon to 10 pm tomorrow. Hurray? Maybe. -
