Well, my buddies took me out to a karaoke bar tonight, and it was awesome. I can't believe how expensive alcohol is around there, but it was great fun. We sang The Proclaimers' "I'm Gonna Be," and it was awesome. There were four of us up there singing, and we had the whole bar clapping and singing along with us. I wanted to sing Bohemian Rhapsody, but there wasn't enough time.
Ah, well, it was a fun experience anyway. Bars are too expensive... -

My birthday is just over, and I am now 21. At least one person online remembered. Not really a big deal, anyway, I guess. Didn't get any presents, but I did buy some beer. Really, really cheap beer. Not much, either. But *I* bought it.

No update in a while, eh? Maybe it's because I've been abstaining from alcohol. I guess some form of update is in order, for those who read this.
My mother is becoming more and more insane. I don't want to get into that, though, because I could go on for pages. I won't be going back to school next semester, because I can't get financial aid because Iowa is holding my transcript because I have unpaid bills there. That's depressing, but I should have seen it coming. I'm considering moving in with my dad, but he's an alcoholic and I don't understand it... I'm not naive enough to think that I can change him, but I might be able to influence him positively. I know he's very lonely, and he really doesn't see us (his three sons) very often. He can also provide more than my mother and step-father. But the problem is that I'd be leaving my little brother, and he's really the only person I still really care about, including myself. The thought of going a year or four with minimal contact is very depressing.
Oh, I did get straight A's again this semester.
On the AMV front, I'm hoping to get some anime soon from aielI_Ileia... we shall see. If/when I do, I plan on opening up Premiere and doing something more favorable to my talents.
