JOURNAL: Minion

  • work 2008-09-07 21:29:54 a caller is describing something completely different on their screen than what i i'm seeing in vnc.
i ask (at least) 5 times if she sure she gave me the correct store number. i repeat it, and she confirms. i know shes giving me the wrong number.
many minutes later she says her store number, and it's not the one i've read to her several times. its not even the same number of digits.
she blames the mistake on me, and starts bragging to her co workers as she starts to hang up. i hate the elderly
  • work 2008-08-27 16:55:40 woman calls saying shes locked out of her email and that it always happens.
i tell her 3 wrong passwords will always lock her out, and she'll need to call us when that happens.
so she wants to know what the wrong password is, to avoid typing it in anymore.
    :| wow.
  • work 2008-08-25 21:11:19 so i get a call saying the backup phoneline at a store is down
ok. i call the phone company. they don't see a problem, so i ask for a dispatch. and its out of my hands.
hours later, they're internet connection goes down, and it comes back up on the backup dialup connection. at the same time i find out that the phone line was down because the phone company was working on that line at the time.
so i close the ticket. it's obviously working, if they're using it to connect.
after i close the ticket, i get an email asking why the ticket was closed, and that the line is still down. the line which was being used for internet. which she complains there is static on :|
  • oops. 2008-06-29 01:58:40 anyone wondering what that spam coming from me in #amv was:
was spamming a friends IRC channel.
left my house with script running
somewhere in that time, my connection timed out, and the script spammed #amv when it came back up.
sorry. won't run that again :/
  • work 2008-06-26 16:05:32 a store is having some kind of issue with a palm pilot (actually pocket pc, but they all call them palm pilots anyways).
she emailed the wrong person, so it had to be forwarded back to me.
also, instead of typing the email in outlook, she typed it in word, and sent it as an attachment.
    heres some copy pasta:
"THIS IS STROE #*** *full name plus middle initial* I PUTM IN A WORK ORDER FOR TWO POND POLIT WE HAVE NO POND POLIT THAT WORK."

i'm at a loss of words.
