her: wheres the left scan button?
me: on the left. it's the button you scan with.
her:.......ok, its not doin nothin
me: try it again
her: .....still no
me: ok, you're holding function and enter while you tap the scan button?
her: ya
me: so whats happening on the screen?
her: oh, i don't know. let me check
me: *facepalm*
so she reset it like 3 times and didn't look at the screen. it fits in your hand. most of it's a screen. how do you miss that?
