I honestly do feel somewhat like a background cast memeber here: I just enjoy watching AMVs. There might be inspirations, but I myself neither have the know-how or equipment to make my own. The first I can slowly fix by reading the Guides, the second might catch up if I ever learn enough about computers to really put the cast into it.
And like most newbies I prefer to watch awhile before going forth to interact. Although, far be it from shyness. My friends would die laughing to think such a thing. It is merely that I tend to learn more by listening before foot-insert-mouth syndrom sets in.

My sn is Halfkin. The 'anime devourer' to my RL friends. I can't help it if they introduce an anime series to me, then pause between episodes to do something (like eat), while I'm left to bug them into showing them marathon style. In fact, I can be down right violent if they dawdle too long...
My first intro to anime was 'Galaxy Express 999'... I think.... and I've since moved my love of cartoons/comics to anime instead.
So far I've seen, or taped, the following animes:
1) Gundam Wing (tapes wearing thin)- the only Gundam series I like so far
2) Trigun (tapes good still)- the first few episodes were best, although Wolfwood's ghost at the end was cool.
3) Vampire Hunter D (only watched both)- they had their moments, but not great.
4) YuYuHakusho (taped up to Dark Tournament)- Funny! Must watch more...
5) Full Metal Alchemist (only watched)- I need to own this one damnit!
6) Wolf's Rain (on TV now)- haven't seen much but I got hopes.
7) Witch Hunter Robin (taped)- no thrilled, kinda dark, but love Michell and Amon!
8) InuYasha (two seasons on tape, on TV now)- drop dead funny! TBC..
9) Cased Closed/Detective Conan (on TV now but lost cable..)- cute
10)Rurouni Kenshin/Samuri X (a little on tape)- I enjoyed 'X' better for how it shows Kneshin, but some of the characters on 'Rurouni' are cool.
11) Scrapped Princess (watched only) too funny! Except that blonde prince was way too much like GW Quatre..
12) Excel Saga (watched only, Thank god)- ...my brain melted ep. 4 1/2
13) Chrono Crusade (watched only)- and if they don't show me more then the first 4 someone will bruise...
14) Gunslinger Girl(s?)[watched only]- ehh, not to thrilled with it
...I've forgotten what else has been teasingly introduced to me...hm...

So don't be surprised if I'm quiet. Hell, if I don't post much at all. Instead I'll be watching from the background and leaving reviews to those AMVs I'll no-doubt be glued to.
Of course, until I -can- download AMVs to watch, I'll be in the fanfiction section of the web. Gotta fix my anime cravings somehow!
