Tada!

YES!!! THIS IS AWESOME!
Ok, now that the fake cheeriness is out of the way it's time for the bad news.(Bad for me, probably not you.) I still have next to nothing finished on my AWA Master's entry and the deadline is quickly approaching. I just can't seem to focus on editing. The fact that it takes forever to actually find the scenes that I am looking for because I'm using ripped DVD source coupled with the fact that none of my sources are fresh in my mind just makes that kind of work too tedious. I may just go my old fashioned route and capture the clips through my capture card rather than using the actual DVD files.
In other new, my buddy Bill, who is from the same "studio" as I am, has entered his video in the AWA Profession contest. It's a very good video. (It's the one that I mentioned in my last journal entry.) It should also be entered at next years Sakura-Con as well.
Well that's everything that I needed to get off my chest this time. Adieu.

Woohoo!

Yet another Sakura-Con deadline missed! I have a really bad habit of doing that. In actuality the only time I entered a video at Sakura-Con was when I entered Misato Robinson and Vampire Helper D. This is pissing me off really. Not to mention that some friends of mine missed the deadline too just because they didn't know when it was. Their videos were really awesome too. A little too awesome in fact. OPne of the videos was almost up to my current level of editing and it was done by a person who has never done it before. Although, I did show him a lot of helpful tricks that people don't often use... Anyway, since I missed the Sakura-Con deadline I think I'm going to work on my entry for the AWA Masters competition. Althought that means that I won't have one for the AWA Professionals contest... Hmm.. If I work hard enough I guess I could do both. Well, back to your regularly scheduled nothing.

AWA 9 Professional Awards is a go.

Wow. i finished a video in time for AWA 9 Professional. It went from being a dramatic character profile using the movie X to being a comedic parody using Gundam Wing. I'll try to uploadit here after I get done on my next project which is taking up almost all of my hard drive.

Screwed....

Ok. I need a vidieo for AWA Professional by this Friday. The "funny" thing is that I don't even have a source video since X has somehow gone missing. I have other ideas but this was the only one that I might have had a chance of finishing on time. I gotta go see if I can rent it form somewhere or something... Man, I'm still pretty screwed on this video though. No matter what it is going to be sub-par... I almost don't want to do it just because of that reason. Oh well. Gotta go to Blockbuster I guess.

Neglect.

Oh, how I've neglected my video ideas. They need not be forsaken. Anyway, I've got another zany idea. It involves a monkey suit and the US congress.... But I'll save that for another time. Right now I have some videos to make. Soe reason getting back from Sakura-Con always makes me want to get ot work on some anime related projects. Well, time for me to get to work on them, Oh and visit my new website, http://members.fortunecity.com/thejungle It's worth the visit... kind of.
