dual booting...>_<
2002-08-01 00:31:55
wow, i spent like 6 or so hours making Windows XP (home edit) and windows 98 dual boot. Meaning you can choose what you want to load when you turn on the computer. Had to set jumpers, had to organized hard drives, had to partition hard drives, and had to format hard drives... the only thing im pissed about is taht i can't get 2 drivers one for sound and another for the modem. hing that cvame with the computer came with drivers for XP, but those two little things are impossible to find for 98, i found a place but i can't download them ARRRGHHHHHHHH!! >_<.
well that was my day, later

con is over and now for the home life
2002-07-30 19:48:53
The con was a lot of fun ^_^, although i made an ass out of myself at the AMV panel by confusing Hsein Lee with Lee Thompson, sorry guys. I got a lot of stuff and met a lot of people in the amv community. The creators on the panel were awesome, really down to earth and more artist than glorymonger. I learned a pretty important lesson at the panel: Create videos from the heart, not to gain fame. I've kinda lost sight of that lately and im trying to be more flashy, but i need to go back to the reason i started, to express myself ^_^.
Yesterday...
My mother and my sister were in a car accident, so i got woken up around noon to go help out, everyone was ok, but her car was damaged, bent axel on the back left. So now its in the shop and i get the pleasure of running my sister back and forth to work cause my brother is feeling sick lately and doesn't want to do it, so yeah for me.
started a little on my video, not too much this darn computer kept crashing and pissing me off, hopeful tonight will be better.
Today...
took my sister to work, stopped by borders books and the book i want has been released yet, sorry matt hopefully soon.
I get to pick my sister up from work soon, blahh its so out of the way.
well i need to look for drivers cause i might be helping my friend's brother change his OS.

Otakon is over...
2002-07-28 20:48:21
Well it was a fun weekend in Baltimore and many Otaku were satisfied. I sure was.
realized a lot of things this weekend...
1. i am really stupid... I didn't think to bring in my new videos to distribute at the amv panel, i don't have hosting yet and it would have been a good way to get my vids out there.
2. i forgot the reason why i wanted to get into video making... its not for glory just to get my artist expression shown and shared with people. Its heart not effects. I need to find that in my again...
3. i am a jerk... for some reason i feel that everyone i was around this weekend with was pissed off at me for some reason or another. Steve im sorry about all that stuff. and everyone else im sorry if you feel like i was a jerk to you, i really didn't mean to be.
4. i am fat and lazy... i need to do more exercises, i am completely lazy lately. no i MUST do more exercises!!!!!!
well also i wanted to say to:
jenni its was awesome seeing you again
christine it was nice meeting you for the first time
matt you are an awesome dancer
steve you are awesome and im sorry i pick on you a lot i'm gonna stop doing that to you
justin have a great week of work hope to see you soon
and Stephen, it was also good seeing you again
have a great week everyone

early the next morning
2002-07-25 23:31:46
well tomorrow morning we (myself and a bunch of friends) are leaving for Otakon. I hope to leave about 9:30 am, hopefully not much later, i like to be punctual ^_^.
Things to have done before leave....
1. Pack luggage <- not yet but will soon
2. Finish Costume <- check
3. Buy glow sticks for dances <- check, darn they were expensive
4. Booze for those who want them <- not yet
5. pack Dvd player for anime <- being packed with luggage
6. Morning shower <- to be done around 8am
7. Burn music mixes <- soon my sweets ^_^ (Mwhaahahaahaha)
well that looks good so far i guess. Im gonna drive in my costume, wonder how many people are gonna be freaked out by it on the way (reactions will be plenty among the ignorant people we cross by on the way to baltimore, it should be fun ^_^).
About the drinking, im 21 so i feel i can drink if i want to since im not driving anytime immediately after, but i will not push anyone to drink in the room.
see everyone at Otakon, if i don't klnow you i'd like to meet you ^_^. Good luck to those who have videos playing in the contest ^_^!!!!

5, 4, 3...
2002-07-24 18:11:35
It almost here, Otakon i mean. Found out that its gonna cost me like $95.60 for 2 night's stay at the hotel we booked. Ouch that hurts, with $50 at the door cost, leaving me with just a little over $40 to spend on food or whatnot. i guess i can always barrow money, but i want to keep that at a minimum ^_^.
Its alright though, its all worth it to have a chance to hang out with a lot of other Otaku (fans) and watch anime, amvs, dance, etc. lots of fun awaits.
Im definately gonna be at the amv panel saturday morning, i was there last year and so shall i be there this year, i hope to get to meet a lot of you creators out there.
