goin well and observations

seems that my insomnia has passed which is a good thing ^_^. it was good to get me to the Prescreenings, but other than that i was getting miserable.
NES video is coming along... got a bout a minute done of 2:30.
observation:
watching a lot of early morning MTV and VH1 i see a lot of videos... its true the only time the videos are played are when no ones really around to watch them... I getting disappointed in a lot of the videos, mainly because they have so much potential, i mean the video is made scene by scene, which is a lot more than AMV creators have to work with. I mean we use pre existing footage, they make their footage. anyway, I'm not a person who listens to a lot of Rap music but i have to say Ludacris and Busta Rhymes are making better videos (with effects) than rock who have a lot to work with as well. "the Scientist" by Coldplay is a very well done video... i urge everyone to check it out. the video is done in reverse.. its has some weird scenes in it but the lip synch is awesome (and its backwards!!!!). enough of my ranting for now.

today the cable company is coming out to install another line for our cable internet so i'm pretty psyched ^_^. also my NES vid is starting to come around... unfortunately i've never done a dance video so im not sure is this is going to come out right, but im sure i'll get it done before the deadline. just not sure how many dance like effects there are gonna be but we'll see ^_^.
Iserlohn gave me the first episode of Legend of Galactic Heroes and it was awesome. thanks soo much ^_^.
June is now over so that means that Otakon is fast approaching ^_^. can't wait.
Today is my younger brother's 20th birthday so that is more great news ^_^.

well i didn't think that people read this, but i was wrong, the count on my journal hits went up, so i want to thank those who take the time to read this not so well updated journal (updated about every 2 weeks with some exceptions).
I've been somewhat of an insomniac of sorts the psat few weeks, but now i need to get back to work on my NES video. I got to figure out how to move the footage around the screen with Virtualdub and get crackin' ^_^.
Hackerzc: I liked your video a lot, very well done ^_^!

after seeing my video played at the prescreening i just wanted to go to the bathroom and vomit... i felt so sick. some glickes entered into my video which set it off beat and the sound somehow got screwed up. I'm currently working with Matt Pyson on a way to get them a digital copy of my video for the overflow tapes. with the video lookin like it did, any hope of making it to the contest are now NULL. Its cool though, I'm not trying to win, i just want a lot of people to see my artwork. I may just start entering videos into exibition only at Cons for now on... well see.
On a better note, i enjoy a good bit of the submissions and hope that the best ones get the recognition they deserve, both veteran and newbie creators alike. Anyway just keep on working, don't give up and you shall see the fruit of your hobbie, fandom and passion...
i need to stop writing here as if anyone reads this but me...
