- Gah, another long week going.... 2002-05-09 00:09:07 Oy, much has been on my mind lately, mainly all the school projects, tests, and such that I must prepare and complete. I have now about 5 different projects ranging from a Spanish paper on the indigenous people of middle Chile to a Rhino 3d modelling final (which is perhaps the only thing I'm really putting 100% effort in while enjoying it). I also have to read the entire book "Grapes of Wrath". Indeed quite a challenge for me. Ths basically results in myself not being able to do much in my freetime, especially AMV's. Whatever time I find to do so, I'll use, but I'll probably not have much time until Summer vacation comes around.

I saw the Spiderman movie today as well. Not bad at all, I liked it very much although I'm not enough of a hardcore fan of Spiderman to truly know whether the film was really faithful to its basis.
I haven't really been able to start my next vid quite yet. I would rathertry waiting until I have access to, or own, a DVD-rom so as to get the highest quality clips possible, rather than relying on this cruddy VCC. I'll just have to wait it out. -

Oy, Why must 79 downloaders receive my video, and not one leave an opinion. That is still ticking me off quite a bit.
I got Metropolis and the newest disc of Kenshin on dvd. Metropolis was a well-made movie, though it does have some downfalls. Just watched the kenshin disc. All I can say is that I truly wish the Revenge Arc could have taken place in the anime, instead of what I'm watching now....it's....mediocre stuff.

Y'know, I think I know how many AMV creators feel when their vid is downloaded a good number of times, yet very few (or absolutely none, in my case) opinions are posted. My MV, which has been downloaded at least 14 times has gotten 0 opinions. C'mon people, have a little heart and take a few non-pain-staking minutes to write a good opinon.

As my father has always taught me, there's no such thing as a free lunch, quite simply (well, there are *exceptions*, of course ^_^). I've gotten an upgraded account at Tripod, so I'll be able to host my mv and any future projects as well. With this, I'll probably change the format from Realplayer to Windows media or some other improved type. Nothing more on that.
On another note, I got to skip 2,3,4, and 5 period because of a field trip to the UW itself for a technology open house, or something close to that. Basically, I wandered around, amused myself at the uses of liquid nitrogen :) , ate, ate some more, and then stayed at the ADP offices watching anime. I then later returned that night for an ADP showing. The....uhh....."movie clip" they showed this week was quite interesting: "Pooh and Satan".....What a twist on a children's classic.
