- A relaxed Monday......damn errors 2002-04-01 10:48:25 I've been trying to use Adobe Premiere to open up my MV project, however, it claims that all the AVI files I've been using to put it together are all supposedly missing from their folder, despite the fact that they still exist. This is the same damn problem I encountered the last time I was about to finish up an MV, resulting in the whole project going down the drain. I'll give it some time to see if it'll fix itself, but I'll become extremely pissed if it does not and will be forced to bash my computer apart.

Hurrah! Spring break has finally begun, meaning more general havoc, loafing around, etc.....as well as MV editing and capturing ^_~
I won't be doing much at this hour, but I will be gone to see the limited engagement showings of the Escaflowne movie in downtown. After that, I'll be passing by an Asian import store to buy manga and perhaps something else, if it happens to come up. If I do have some free time, I'll do some more capturing, which I've been negelecting to do, and a bit of editing.

I can't say what exactly I mean by the phrase in the title above, but let's just say that doing things slightly against the rules is fun ^_^ (very few will know what I speak of)
Anyways, I spent some time yesterday as well as friday night editing the video rather than capturning more clips. After watching what I had done so far with my vid, I decided to scrap several of the messages that appear in the video which would have acted as ways to emphasize irony, but I'll leave the audience to figure that out rather than annoying them with black screens and text in the middle throughout the video. The problems I come across now still are the same. I need to find several ways to have the video match the beats and sounds of the music since no lyrics exist, yet maintain some kind of constant theme in the entire video. I truly should have some of my friends view this video for valuable criticism before the release of this video. However, I must be near completion before I do that. I'll get to some more capturing tonight, if possible. -

Ah, too many. I just bought the first DVD, which has truly impressed me. After seeing a demo episode at a session of ADP a few months ago, I had been waiting since then for this release, which has not dissapointed me. Perhaps I'll use this as a source from a video sometime........not a bad idea....
Nothing more on my MV.....Still need to wait for this weekend.

I've made somewhat good progress in my AMV, although it's only a bit more than halfway done. The difficulties of this video are making sure that the message screens don't appear too much in my video (perhaps scrapping them altogether would be a good idea, not sure yet), maintaining some purpose in each section of the video, and filling up the time. The only good thing I can really see is that there are several other clips I have yet to capture which would contribute to the video. However, I may have to push back any date of finishing this video until I can have access to a PS2 (need to buy new one, normal DVD player is difficult to capture from).
Any further work on this video will probably have to wait until next weekend, yet again. If I have free time during the week, I'll attempt getting small updates done.
