I've started painting again. I don't have any pics of my paintings on my site. but, have you ever tried to scan an acrylic on canvas? thought not. -_^ seriously though, i'll try and get some good snapshots to scan so you can see them. otherwise i can tell you what they look like and you can close you eyes and use your imagination.

nahhhhh... what fun would that be? I dabbled in some water colors today. Personally, i like my paint to have more substance and depth to it, but the watercolor painting was pretty when it was done. ^o^ my mom wants to frame the first one i did (just a simple little flowers in a vase kinda thing) and put it up in the livingroom. I stuck with the basic pastels she has in her whole house decor so i guess she thought it'd look good. *shrug* as long as somebody liked it. Now, I've switched over to my acrylics again. I'm working on a "Memoir de Wolfwood". lol! yeah, i can pretend i took more than three years of french in highschool, -_^ actually it's just a fun tribute to one of my favorite anime studs.
maybe tomorrow i'll get back to work on that PB video. maybe...

Gawd... sometimes i amaze even myself. I was working on the MV today and realized, i hate this song. I mean, it's nice, pretty and wierd. But it just goes on. there's no... "drama point". you know what i mean? the point in the song where you just feel every beat, every word coursing through you. It's not here. And it's not because "Lady of Dreams" is instrumental. plenty of instrumental pieces have drama points.
so, in the end, i scrapped the video. i have started another Perfect Blue MV to a song that, maybe, 2 people have heard. It has a kinda 80s/90s rock sound to it and a mix of video game spiritualness. It's like FFX's "Song of Prayer" meets Smashing Pumpkins' "Disarm". does that make any sense?
if not, gimme and month and it will. ^o^
Gomen nasai for those of you who were looking forward to the Vast MV, it just wouldn't have moved you the way i wanted to. -

i have to have a tirade. get this out of my system.

At the risk of sounding like Jerry Seinfeld... -_^ What is it with teachers these days?! My brother, Michael, comes home from school today and tells us he has Saturday Detention. For those who don't know, this means he has to go to school on Saturday morning for three hours and do assignments like write 'i am responsible for my own actions' 500x. so when we ask him what he did, he says" i forgot to bring my textbook."
Nani?!
so after getting a few details my brother reveals that he had forgotten to bring his textbook to class on monday as well. when he asked to get it from his locker (because you can't share schoolbooks anymore with other students. why? don't ask me.) the teacher tells him "no." why? like i said, don't ask me. so michael sits there, at his desk, doing nothing for 30 minutes. what does the teacher do? she writes up a bad conduct report and sends him to the principal's office for "not doing anything." That is EXACTLY what she wrote on the report.
anyways, after going through this ordeal and missing his next class, my brother got an idea. So the next time he forgot to bring his book, he would be ready to go get it.
that day was today.
He raised his hand, said he felt sick and asked to go to the nurses' office. the teacher let him go and after getting released in "good health" he makes a pit stop at his locker and brings the book back to class with him. The teacher, saying nothing, gives them an assignment and the class started to work on it. Then right before the bell rang, she asks Michael,"where did you get you book from?" he says"i stopped at my locker on the way back from the nurses office."
what does the bitch from hell do? she writes him up again, this time "wandering the halls without a pass." and this time she recommends that he gets ISS (In School Suspension) on Monday, and have Saturday detention. well since the report makes him look like a repeat offender and a criminal, my brother gets Satuday Detention AND ISS! so this means he misses more class time! yeah, that'll teach him to love school!

so all i wonder is... do teachers actually TEACH anymore, or do they just go on ego trips like this one? o yeah, this isn't the first time. or the first teacher. My brothers have been suspended for "not bringing a pencil to class" "talking during a lab" "chewing gum in class" and even "missing a scheduled detention" nevermind that he was in the hospital with a broken arm!
I NEVER went through this crap. not in middle school or high school. i always had good teachers and people i could look up to. and i NEVER had a detention. never. i did some stupid shit, but my teachers understood that i was human. i just don't get it. I actually feel bad for my brothers. It seems like they got the crappiest deal of teachers out there. Stupid bastards with bif egos. it's depressing. i'm gonna stop talking about it.

OKAY!!!! so i got to work on my Yuna costume. I found the EXACT color of indigo material that i needed for her skirt. and the apttern will be replicated to te detail. yeah i'm picky. -_^ I've also added 6 more seconds to my Perfect Blue MV. Well.... back to work. ^o^
