FINALLY!!! someone has subbed the rest of Yawara! I got a lot of catching up to do, had to re-watch, starting from episode 56, to remember what was going on. Who ever subbed these did a horrible job. English was definitely not their native language, but I'm gratefully for their efforts as my Japanese is poor at best. Currently on episodes 79 and loving it! I've fallen for Fujiko all over again as my favorite character of this show. 45 more episodes to go!

Since my last journal entry, I've been through a lot with the Selections process for the Civil Affairs course. But now that I've been combed through and "selected" to attend the course, the next step is language school. We started this past Monday, and after completing day 2, my brain is fried. I'm trying to keep myself from getting overwhelmed, which is hard, because out of a class of 5 students, 2 of them have already been through some formal training in the language. Meaning their already having conversations in Dari with our teacher and here I am, barely memorizing half the alphabet and able to count to 20 >.<
Got to keep reminding myself, it's only the second day! Six more months to go!
