Get it, read it and love it.
Brian Michael Bendis did an awesome job with this relaunch of Spider-man. The writing is phenomenal and obviously the characters and stories are familiar, but with slight twists and changes.
I expected this since Bendis is a top-tier comic book writer, but still...80 issues and still going strong. It's not always OMGWTFAWESOME, but it's a very consistent book and I can always count on it being good. I dig consistency ;).
Anyway, yeah...read it!

I so hear you Castor. One of my friends has been whoring himself over this for over two months and it's getting a bit annoying. He finally got his yesterday, but at what cost? Annoying all his friends? :P
On top of that, he's now buying into a free TV deal. Geez...

I wanted to try something a bit different this time around. Therefore I took shows I've never used (or seen) and made an upbeat (and bouncy :P) video.
Most people are used to (overly) sappy vids from me, so I went down the fan-service road. Given, nothing like Alan/Zarxrax's vids (and probably not all that bad), but hopefully something different compared to what you expect from me :).
Again, sorry for the delay, but that whole "life" and "job" thing got in the way :P.

Re-encoded videos

I re-encoded "Glory of Love" and "Evolution" to XviD earlier last week and they look about 10x better. Especially "Glory of Love" since I used my "escaflowne-specific" filters script (courtesy of AbsoluteDestiny) to clean up the rainbows and sharpen stuff up.

I figured the handful of people who actually enjoyed these videos might be interested in replacing the crappy quality copies with these :). It's not MPEG-2, but it's a lot better. Pehraps I should talk to the people who gave me low "video quality" scores (understandably so with MPEG-1) :P.

So Otakon has passed and I have uploaded my newest video:

It's about 10x sappier than "Glory of Love" if you can believe that and it surprisingly won "Best Romance/Sentimental" at Otakon this year. Goin' for the three-peat next year ;).
I don't claim that everyone will enjoy this video, but it's a bit personal, so I could care less.
