1000 hits and a peice of shit car

I come here today and my journal has had 1000 hits..you guys are either obssessed or extrmely bored.. :p
Turns out that my starter wasn't the problem with my car..the engine is getting nada compression..which means..overhaul..agian..the third one this POS will have.. ¬¬
Granted though that with this one..I will actually now HAVE a 2nd gear...since a wrecked Grand AM is being bought and the transmisson and engine are being pulled out and put into mine. If it weren't for the fact that this will cost less than the $2000 downpayment required for the Firebird I reeeeaaalllyyy want...I'd have it sitting out in the driveway now..*sniff sniff* and so pretty too..black with black interior..and its a late 80/early 90 model too.. :(
AMV's..I'm on a roll! :P I finished another one just last night for Tommy B Rude's 80's contest! So that's 2 down now...makes 13 more to go..even though I really think that some of those will be scrapped due to just a lack of intrest in them now that it's been so long since I worked on a few of them and it would also involve re-starting the entire vid since I now have DVD footage available.
Yes! I got a spot in MI2! :O
*thinks* I don't suppose that there's too much else to say right at the moment..besides that I wish summer would hurry up and get here! I'm sick and tired of ice and snow.. :& -

Hmm..well..I got my first test back today in my Dev. Algebra..and made a 68..:( I hate math,,,,at least if it's my lowest score all semester I can drop it...it'd better be my lowest..I have to at least pass with a 70 in there to move on to Intermediate Alg..then to College Alg. damn me and my low SAT math scores...
On the up side..even though the starter went out in my car Monday..it's not going to cost me anything to have it replaced..thank goddess for lifetime warranties.. :)
Some people really bug me around here..I live in a town where to my knowledge we have had maybe one black family live in this town (for a short period of time) in the past 30-35 years my family has lived here. Our town is 30 mins from Jonesboro..which is were ASU is..and a divirse population to say the least.
Now..a black church has come into town..actually just down the road where my mom lives..and they've been collecting money for a group they have that helps out women and children who are victims of domestic abuse at one of the busier intersections in town. I've never failed to give them something when they come to the car..and have talked to a few of them and they are extremly nice people. What bugs me so bad is that there are people here that can't seem to relize that change is going to happen..and keep trying to make them leave. Why can't they just leave them be? Why do they have to be asses to people? I've never understood that....*shakes head* anyway..
AMVs: One down..14 more to go.. :P yep..I finished one ..but it needs a little nip and tuck here and there before it'll be up for download..next in line...Hellsing..no no..you heard right..not TRIGUN..Hellsing..lol...

*sings* Love is in the air...bleh..lol! Seems like everyone I know is hooking up now..lol..it's enough to drive a person insane..or make you sick with all the sweetness floating around...:P but I'm glad to see people happy...that's what matters... -

First off..Hakura..Zerophite..Congrats you two! :) I wish the both of you the best of luck!
Second..MI2..hoping I get a spot on this one as well..especially now that I can use DVD quality footage. Also hoping to get the mental block outta here so that I can finish up a video in time for Tommy B Rude's 80's contest. I finished up my portion of mine and Xenodrake's endevor..and no matter what he thinks, I think we both did very well given our extreme differences in editing style. Hopefully we'll have it up for download before too long.
Third..no longer am I with ShadowWorld Productions..I've moved to be with Devo and his studio ExS. I'm hoping that everything goes well with this..I really think it will..as he and I seem to get along togther fairly well I think..*wink wink, nudge nudge* lol...but don't let me get the wrong idea across there..as friends..that's what I mean.. :P
It's strange how things in your life change..and things that you took for granted suddenly show themselves to you. I've come to relize alot in the past few weeks that I really either didn't want to acknowledge or was just not seeing in the first place. Like how extremly lucky I am to have who I do in my life right now..and the sacrifices he makes to make me happy. I've taken alot for granted in the past and I hope that I can make that up to him. He's come to relize that we have different intrest in life and has been taking time to learn mine..as I should alot of his. It's something that we'll both have to work on...
I'm also extremly lucky to have the friends I have..even if it'll be a few months more before I'm actually able to see them face to face..lol..it'll be worth the wait...Xeno..Devo..Feit..and all the others that'll be at AWA..I can't wait! It's going to be a blast! :p

Hmm..What Chaos says makes alot of sense..I will have to say that I usually reserve the side of me that came out last night for my RP chars..something that helps me de-stress at times...funny how alot of us seem to have alter egos like that...
