24 more days till Halloween!
Let's see...where to start..
Had a blast in Memphis on Beale St. The weather turned out wonderful, and we arrived there about 5:30/6:00 PM...the bands were all outstide, and wherever you went you could hear all sorts of different styles of blues being played. There was a band there called Big Willy and the SkyDogs that were doing kick ass covers of Stevie Ray Vaughn. We went to A. Schawbs, were I found a set of nice brass Gargoyle candle holders, as well as some hand made insense that I really like..(as soon as I can get back, I'm going to stock up on my magik supplies, herbs and such).
Sat in Handy Park and listened to a blues band there, and Erich bought me their CD. (I like to buy CD's like that and know that I'm supporting the artist..I suppose it's also an effort to relive my guilt about using Kazza so much lmao!) Wandered around to a few more shops, before heading to B.B. Kings Blues Club to have dinner(Memphis style ribs! Always good!)then left there and went back out to walk around some more. Beale St. was really starting to crank up then, it was wonderful! There were vendors walking around with buckets of roses, and of course, I got a red one..*grins*
Finally settled on Silky O'Sullivan's as the place to sit and listen to a band. We had no idea who was playing and it turned out we made a very good choice, as we were able to see Lil Howlin Wolf, a true Beale St. Blues legdend. We sat at a table next to his in the open air area of the club, and he came over and spoke with us. He's a great blues singer as well as a very nice man. He told us that he started his blues carrer in the 1940's and had been asked to play at the White House three times. As well as doing several European tours. We sat there and listend to him sing till about 12:00 AM when we decided to call it a night.
Next time we go..I'm going on a Riverside Carraige ride..lol!

On the vid front: My Trigun vid is almost done..just a little refining to do. Then I'll be ready to start on my next one...also..Erich's said he'd like to take a stab at AMV making! YAY! (Which means I get the Trigun Boxset sooner than I thought, as well as a DVD RW)!! -

30 days till HALLOWEEN!! I'm determined to have fun regardless of what the holier than thou churches around here try to do to screw it up this year! Becasue of the whole 9/11 thing, last year sucked super royally. Been scouring the thrift stores for the bits and peices to my outfits, as well as KC's.
I've found a new way to get my creativity going, that being taking 1 to 1 1/2 mile hikes out at the state park. With fall settling in, the trees are blazing with colors and the wildlife is everywhere. Came up on 2 white tailed deer yesterday..beautiful to watch them. Too bad my camera battery was dead at that point.. ;( They also have a bat condo out there, to help the brown bat population here grow. Sat out by the lake till dusk and watched them come out for the night. These bats are a bit bigger then the ones in N.M. at the Carlsbad Caverns, but the sheer number of bats at Carlsbad is awe inspireing enough to make up for it.
Might be going to Memphis for the weekend, not certian yet, but planning on going to B.B. Kings blues club, if we can get in, and taking in the sights of Beale Street. If we can't get in at B.B. Kings..I suppose we'll try the Hard Rock cafe..even though I'm not real fond of the place. While I'm there, I'm going to go to Tower and see if they have any decent anime that I might be able to pick up.
It looks and sounds like everyone had a great time at AWA! Glad everyone made it back safely! I'll be sure to see you all next year! Count on it! -

Well, AWA is over for another year, and tommorrow the Fearsome Foursome will be on their way home (to the various points of the globe that they came from). It's been really fun being able to talk to them like I have the past few days, like I was there in a way..lol.
See Info..you don't say a whole lot..but you still seem like your a nice guy..even if you did spend a heart stopping amount of money on DVD's! Hopefully I can talk to you on AIM now a little more..lol.

Devo..out of the four..I do belive that you were the sanest..(I would say See Info..but he did spend all that money on DVD's so I question his sanity now..lmao!) Maybe next year between the two of us we can corral the others and keep the chaos to a minium..yhea..right! *dies laughing*

Hopefully, you'll all have a safe trip home, since I didn't get to tell you that before my phone died..yet agian! I'm looking forward to signing on to my BL and seeing all those names back on..it's been lonely here without you guys... :(

Well..so far, from information I've gleaned from numerous phone calls, I now have a pretty good, "do's and dont's" list for the cons I'm going to try to be at next year (Jacon and AWA)
The Fearsome Foursome still seem to be having fun, although they were a bit more subdued tonight than usual....as this was what seemed the busiest day for the con.
Xeno managed to get my favorite Vash cosplayer to pose for a pic for me! YAY!!! Thanks Vash of C.S.!! ;p
So here in a few days, hopefully, I'll have pics to put faces to names, as well as faces to those uber cute voices I've been listening to the past few days! LMAO!!! ;p
My vid is just about done..which means I'll need to get ahold of the person currently hosting my first vid and see if he'll switch it with the new one. Taking the old vid out completely since it was downloaded over 700 times and I only got 4 ops for it. @_@
Other than that..not a whole lot else going on...as usual...

It is now 2:33 AM...my cell phone battery is dead and my calling card is devoid of minutes.
But it's sooooooooooo much fun! ;p
Due to the nature of the conversation the majority of the time..*cough* proverted*cough* I'll not sear innocent eyes with it...lol...
Let's just leave it at it was 3:00 AM AWA time...and you have 4 guys in a hotel room...you figure it out. :~P
