We seem kinda low on submissions at the moment. Only 23 days left to submit videos, and my ability to give out FTP info for uploads from September 27-October 1st will be spotty at best due to AWA. Get those requests in soon.

This isn't the 90s or the early 00's anymore. Having to regularly reformat a system is only a necessity if you go trolling tons of sketchy porn sites and regularly install virus ridden software cracks.
If the HDD is truly the issue, I'd recommend investing in a cheap, small SSD to have all your software installed on (you can get them on sale for like ~$1/GB now) and separating your media / footage / etc. from the OS drive entirely. Get some cheap 2TB drives to store all that stuff. -

Been going all out on this current project. Got close to a minute of footage laid down this weekend. Unfortunately, there's still about 80 seconds left to do.
Friends kept pressuring me to take days off this here and there and I let them. Bad call there. This is dense stuff I have left. About 20 seconds of what I have left should take me about 10-15 hours to pull off... that is, assuming I'm not panicking over the deadline for it - which I am.
I've never been this nervous or just plain stressed about a project before. - strange standards 2012-08-14 10:14:19 I felt like I accomplished something by getting about 2 seconds of video done last night. I then took a step back and fully appreciated how ridiculous that seemed. I'm at about 8% complete now.
