Just watched 13 ghosts. "The lawyer , did he split" gag had me in stiches!! Ok..that was the ONLY time i laughed.
In other words, it was as funny as Stallone in a Ninja turtle movie and as scary as casper. I thought Jackal (the marilyn manson ghost ..lol)and Juggernaut ( David Letterman on a bad hair day..oh wait..i know what u r going to say..)were pretty cool.. Shannon Eliza looked like Lara Croft! The nanny is so typically funny. And does anyone really care what the ghosts do to that annoying little kid ??
In a nutshell: it sucked BAAD but i liked it =)
Woo...went to the official website and dug out some background info abt each of the 12 ghosts ( 13 is a spoiler...oh well considering how shallow the plot was..everything IS a spoiler)had some gruesome and creepy history related to it.The whole black zodiac thingy was kinda cool and would have made a good Anime (VHD Bloodlust style) given a more competent producer/director.

Had a crazy idea to make an amv using audio from 13 ghost's trailer with footage from various anime..with each character featuring as each of the ghosts
( sorrie i'm not very good with names but those who watched the respective anime shld know who i am referring to)

Friday
Had a little reunion dinner with my ex-army buddies and my PC (who shared the same birthday as me) Organised by Terence as usual. Unfortunately, only 4 of us could make it including BK. Had a nice chat abt old times:
Topics of interest were
1) Chan EK the professional magician..the guy whom everyones loves to hate and bully. The guy who wears pyjamas in an army camp , bathes 5 times a day and is so scared of ghosts that he'll jump (literally) out of bed in fright when you knock against his bed while he's asleep. His magic is unbeliveable though. I rmr rubbing my eyes in disbelief when he made a made a pigeon appear from nowhere with his sleeves folded up. However we'll pinch his fats , tickle him and G him .(.man you dun even want to know what G means ) him up whenever he showed us his stupid dumbass levitation trick...
2) The mumbling staff sergeant who is now working at macdonalds according to popular belief LOL. who mumbles and grumbles whenever something goes wrong (in his book..anything that can go wrong normally does).
The same SSG who tried to show us how to strip a rifle nearly aggravated an old injury in the process

Btw, Terence and Jacky(who is still a Lieutanent..do all officers have to be bastards in order to promote ??) are both getting married next year. That's makes the 4th fren i know who is getting married next year. Now, why do i sound so depressed ???
Boonkian is earning $1200 in his IA company !????!??? Wowes...that makes my $800 look peanuts by comparism. This outing just isn't as nostalgic without Chan , Kweh, Kelvin , Fong and the rest.
Saturday
Had an appointment with some beauties (yeah right ) in the morning.
Went for a swim at noon until some (about 30 of them) annoying little kids in pyjamas interrupted what was my second dip in a pool in a year.
Went to buy a new pair ( my very first in fact) of boots. That was when i met KB who continued to torment me with his rant about archmage (just kidding ! =) ). Got my membership card of Comix connection at last and surprise surprise, the new volume of Berserk manga is out! For once, no traces of explicit violence and nudity in a complete volume. Miura must be finding his inner-peace at last..lol !!
Sunday.
After a week's (which seemed like eternity) break from soccer, it was time for me to unleash my new pair of boots on zw and gang. Contary to what i had thought, boots were very comfy to run and kick the ball with. I felt almost at home wearing them. The diff in quality in play (compared to my army buddies) was notceable almost immediately...was quite frustrated with my team members regarding their unwillingness to pass the ball early. I didn let that affect my play though..i just stick to playing the style i tot was right. Scored 2 goals and made an assist. Pretty pathetic but tot i played quite well despite that.
What a goal from Smicer!!! I was talking to VINCENT abt it earlier today and we both agreed that this goal could be as impt as the one Gary 'gramps' Macca scored for us against everton last year ard this time. Not quite the very last touch like last season but the signs are telling..this could be another rewarding season. All we need is for Arsenal to slip up and with Pires crocked...it might not be impossible
Aaronlye started a mailing list (amv_singapore@yahoogroups.com) for Singapore amv creators and fans alike. Hope the list will grow in time to come. So far we've got 7 members..who's to tell that this list will not be as big as the original amv list in future ??
More and more fans from Singapore and contacting me.(possibly those who saw the vids i posted on s-one) .this is a good sign..that amvs might be becoming more and more mainstream in Singapore.

Spend the last 2 days downloading a 277mb file called RESIDENT EVIL FULL from Kazaa and it turned out to be Monster INC !!!!!!....that was a GOOOOOD JOKE ..whoever you are..i hope you piss in ur pants !!!!

What a GREAT GREAT result...staying up to 3:30 am to watch the match it had to be worth it ..and it DID.
What a great performance by the lads...slendid...absolutely splendid. Our passing was fast, accurate and slick...our defence phemomenal yet agin.

Gerrard!!! If there's anyone who can inherit 'GOD' nick from Robbie , its him. Excelllent work rate, vision , control and passing..with him and Becks in midfield..England are going to win the WORLD CUP.
Anyway , back to the match. If i had to pick a worst player from the team it'd be Dudek , partially for a flap at a goal ..other than that he's flawless and that says everything abt the way we played. Xaiver: from the way he played..maybe we dun need Babbel back so soon
Roma didn play too badly...they just had to face a team hungry for a win and on top form. Its no exaggeration that they did play (quote The commentator , our dear Mark Richmond who made no attempts to disguise his LOVE for the club...shouting like a donkey on estacy when heskey scored..welll almost :P)like their lives and wives depended on it , like its the CUP final itself.
This win is all the more sweeter after Fabian Capello and Totti made some unplesant comments abt 'boring' Liverpool. Hey , with 'Borng' Teams like us, you dun need exciting teams.
