Weekend updates:
Saturday: Had my IPPT re-test. Amazing how i struggle at stations i would have gotten full points with ease back in army. This is the first time i could have more then 40 sit ups for a long long time. The PTI was annoying strict,,,shouting "No count !! No Count" with every slight flinch of wrong movement...backside cannot leave ground..hands must cup ears blah blah ...
One of the dudes in my group ( a laid back fellow) simply refused to do any after he had gotten a few no counts...he just laid there after 10 quick situps and waited for the minute to end...that was just way kewll man..simply BOCHAP !! Anyway i didn take the 2.4 run since i failed my chinups anyway...NO RT FOR ME HEHEH SINCE I'M A FULL TIME STUDENT !!
Sunday: Soccer day again. Feeling quite heavy today after 2 huge buffets in a week. I couldnt'r run fast enuff most of the time and the 2 customary goals ( the second was 'so called' goal of the day , trapping a high loose ball with a sigle touch and volleying it in...)hardly reflected the number of chances i had. Needless to say, I missed most of them ...slicing wide with onli a defender or goalie to beat ,,arghhh. Had a most interesting discussion with ZW, Edddie and gang at KFC ,,we touched on very sensitive topics which i'll not reveal here :)
A nw comic shop opened near my house. It was the closest thing a manga shop shop can get to a national library..damn its HUGE !! And the 'counters' (analogy) are pretty attractive as well..ehhe Am i coming back more often.??..YOU BET !!
Watched the first 2 parts of Angel Sancturay...nice !! Not half as good as the mnaga ( according to my fren but pretty good anyay). Waiting for the 3rd part to download as i type this...i'm thnking of a suitable song for it...THAT'S RIGHT ..THIS COULD BE MY NEXT PROJECT ...i'm naming it 'FORBIDDEN LOVE' for the time being
CHY eve is coming and i've yet to buy my new clothes or anything new for that matter ...i'm gonna get it unless i do stg soon :) -

Worked my ass off again today (Ivan wanted yet another added funtionality for the room booking system: all Temsaek Poly students..next time you pple book a room , please rmr this poor soul who is slogging his butt off. If there are any bugs, dun find me...i'm only doing the presentation layer) but i enjoyed every minute of it. Btw, it seems the CMIS and TP pple are giving us a lot of crap lately and a lot of us were really strssed out. HK accused them of having no intergrity and for someone as nice as her to say that shows a lot But there are still things to look forward to such as....
.....Another free meal...wow. How many free meals have i had for the past 2 years ...(counting fingers). This time its a company dinner to celebrate CNY fully sposnsered by NCS. Had the chance to meet some new collegues esp the Joker Jimmy who had a long but rather unfortunate history with handphones..LOL. Some of them greeted me with " are you the one who lived near TP ?" I nodded with proud affirmation.
The meal was at an ulu Indonesian restaurant in an ulu shopping center ( Tanglin shopping center to be exact; which is 1 security guard short of being a ghost town) Wow , i even brushed shoulders with Kym Ng. We were THAT close to banging into each other
What first grabbed my attention was the sight of an ah lian with powderfool makeup (it was as thick as <insert ur worst enemy's name> skin )
What really shocked me was that she drssed like a little girl even in public. I was telling the rest later that she looked and dressed even younger than me . Shes didn look that bad. She just dress BAD.
Enuuf of her. The meal was great. Not the best ever but simply great. There 10 dish course consts of Asam Fish, fried coconut ayam *chicken* , fried squids, steamed fish , satays, giant chilli prawns, chilli veges and the best beancurds i had in my life ( and not forgetting the throat scorching HOT samba chilli)and of course the most expensive dish of all: the Avogardo...a slimy, milky drink that was pretty good but hard to stomach considering that i was bloated by the time it came. There was a brief moment of drama as the 3 elders bickered abt who should pay for the meal
Will it be
1) the one who earned the most
2) the one who lives closest to the person to claim the money from
3) or the one who organised the dinner who happenes to be Ian, the stressed out guy who had heavy arm today (too heavy to drive), so heavy he had to get an acupuncture just b 4 the dinner?The debate went on for so long that Amelia joked that in the end i (the most junior of them all who happens to be the onli IA student going for the dinner...sheez..i tot i'll get to meet some poly chicks)may be so fed up that i'll end up paying.
In the end Jimmy paid coz he couldn't outtalk the other 10 pple.
I also found that the ladies are all below 30. Wow...this must be a more stressful job than i tot. ahem..since they all look like 30's...ahem ( i hope none of them read this)
Then the bombshell dropped. Amelia had brought the project room key along and Hwee Keow had to leave the door unlocked. There are security keys and stuff in there so somebody had to help her lock the door early next morning. Being a good sport..i volunteered for it.. living 5 min away from TP does help..sometimes.

Finally , after hours of de-bugging..managed to get the Room Booking system to work. But I guess it's still full of bugs though, like getting a successful booking despite the user entering an earlier endtime than starttime.
The last episode of the Reunion is a major failure...man..i wished TCS would hire me as a scriptwriter..i've got full of those ideas in my head like "how to make a blockbuster look like a flop" duh...
Can't believe Singnet disconnected me again (7 times in a row no kidding !!) while i'm uploading a file..and usually with seconds left to boot !! I hate them...why dun i get disconnected when i'm idle and not doing anything ..i'm sure there are pple who leave their computers on forever and do nothing..why are they not disconnected instead ?
The opinions for my vids have stopped and I've yet to get my Ninja Scroll over to Chojin. Waldo and Simperson have yet to make my vid available for download. I'm a patient guy though; i'll just stalk them and kill their fishes in the meantime (just j/k guys..thanx a lot for hosting my vids) ..which reminds me that....

Busy day in the office. JSP is tougher than it looks...writing proper scriplets is driving me nuts!! It seems any minor form of error or discrepancies is cauing an error in compilation ..and i tot webscripting is more tolerant than normal hard-coding.
Downloaded and watched Vampire Hunter D: BLOODLUST. What a movie!! The mood and beauty of the movie just blew me away.
