Finally got a break from doing all kinds of shit to write this piece of garbage here.
This is going to be a long one so here goes....
What went on the past couple of weeks (i'm sleeping at home most of the time )
1) finished my FYP CA2 report and presentation...it was a horrible experience but my sup helped me out a bit and i actually did 2 good deeds on the day of presentation itself...even taking time to help a damsel and a (whats a guy damsel called) in distress.
2)Played ping pong with ZW, KB and well well well....my long lost fren (of the terrible quartet.. ) ZX....its good to play with someone of my own standard. Since its was a long time since we caught up...we did some soul baring all while smacking that little silly orange ping pong at each other
3)passed that dumb module (cAPITAL MARKETS BLAH BLAH....FINANCIAL ..ADVISORS..BLAH BLAH THEORY) while spending onli 1 day on that thick textbook...i'm a genuis!!!! well..not quite... i was saved by some ridicoulously easy questions , in fact there were at least 20 out of the 100 MCQs that had an obvious "ALL of the above" as the answer

1) what did his parents feed him ?
2) you are only here for the money
3) if he doesn't stop shaking his legs, u r going to chop them off

4) played 'No one lives forever 2'in ZW's place ..hey fun game!! and we watched a dumb movie on a vcd : whispering corridors which had nothing to do with corridors and whispering. It was more of a social commentary than a horror flick...but its a decent flick nonetheless
5) Watched Volcano High , it was awesome !!!!!!!! Move aside, Neo.
The james bond movie wasn't too bad either although it ended up being a spoof of a spoof of itself
6) sunday soccer day : please let me forget that horrible day
7)went on a 'date' with ... (ugh) in orchanrd road...funniest thing was how we joked about the ritchie ren lookalike on that terrible IKEA commercial
we'll never look at the phrase "I don't know" the same again
8) watched liverpool twice on Tv live : and both time they lost playing like virgin nuns !!! argghhhh!!!!!! Hou let the wimps out ???

Michelle is the talented one , quietly doing her music in a simple and sincere way. And what can in say abt her that hasn't been said already? The gurl's a frigging genuis..go Michelle!!! How did i miss her while watching the buffy episodes ?
On the other hand Avril is loud and brash and dishes pop stars like no tommorow. She wears some clothes bought from K mart in her videos and goes ard with a guitar on a skateboard wearing a tie. She claims to have a better body than Britney and thinks blink 182 is ROCK (lol...sorry couldn't resist)
Some people worship her and listen to her songs
Some people call her a hyopcrite and poseur and listen to her songs
She does have her fair share of controvesy...and its really ironic that talented artiste like Marilyn Manson , EMINEM and Avril needed to stiir up (unintentinally perhaps....but i think not) such things when there's absolutely no need to...
But somehow i think they are just playing us for fools....maybe controvesy does sell albums
Maybe in reality Avril is a poseur singing anti-poseur songs
Maybe Eminem talks about beating his girlfren .but only.....in chess
Maybe when MM talks about being anti-christ ..he was referring to Christian Gross (private joke) BTW i respect MM as an artiste and when u listen to his lyrics....it does not tell u to take drugs, commit suicide, kill pple and all that shit pple want u to believe..he tells us to be , THINK and do things for ourselves and take no shit from other pple who ostracise whoever they think is diff from them...thats all i'll say for now.
Anyway I dunno what to call her but i do know her songs are great!!. Michelle has the better singles but she has a better overall album: LET GO (awesome!!). I can't believe no one has made an AMV to "Sk8ter boi" yet..thats the closest thing to the perfect amv song since 'Mr Bean goes to town theme song' (ok ..maybe not quite :P )

Just finished my presentation....what can i say? ARGHHHHHh!!!
Made 2 glaring errors in my presentation and was put out of bail by my supervisor a couple of other times when the examiner asked something i didn't quite know..esp the stuff about parameter extraction.
The stupid Class F circuit which i drew wrongly and the stupid waveforms that were supposed to be out of phase and NOT in phase
...now the examiner made a comment abt my concepts not being very strong when i knew it was just a dumb mistake on my part although i had a gut feeling he and my sup were suitably impressed with the report which i pumped hours of work into. Overall...my presenation is OK i think ...but the fact that i could have done so much better really sucks
Its just the presentation which i sort of messed up..oh well
And i can't believe i put my trust into 2 pple i never met before
I had to leave the keys of the seminar room with this guy coz he never brought his matric card along and if i had signed the key back in..he'd not be able to sign it out again.
And there's this girl who came into the room frantically looking for her fren who's supposed to hand over her laptop...somehow her fren bailed out and being the kind person that i am..i lend her Vince's (HE'S GOING TO KILL ME IF HE FINDS OUT )laptop. Well..i understand her feeling, 5 mins b4 a presenation and no laptop to present in...i wouldn't want to be in her shoes for anything ...well..almost anything
Well...i couldn't stay ard to listen to any of their presentations could i???
I had to burn some time b 4 i meet up with GM later so here i am typing nonsense but if the guy runs away with the key and all the expensive equipment in the room and the girl (Jane i believe her name was) runs away with Vince's laptop...u'll see me in the headlines tmr..but onli if u r in Singapore of coz.
But now i can proclaim..I'M FREE FOR THE REST OF THE HOLIDAY!!

Been listening to a lot of Marilyn Manson and Aimee Mann...its amazing how both artistes touch on basically the same themes depression, helplessness, self-doubt, and hopelessness and display the themes in such contrasting manners.(emotionally subtle and loudly paradoxical) .but both are friggin talented artistes...
The presentation is in 2 days, and i now have a laptop to present in thanks to Vincent who offered to lend me his. Thanks again dude..although i already did thank u personally
The powerpoint is 50% done while the report is nearly complete...IN 2 DAYS TIME...I CAN FINALLY BE FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

Watched another movie while i was typing my report: MY LITTLE EYE
What a little gem of a movie...in the words of the crtics its Blair Witch meets Big Brother and the ending...oh the ending...such depression..it left a sickening feeling in my stomach hourse after watching it. No there's nothing gross abt it..but the way the 'message' was shown onscreen..ugh..
Its a good movie..the second part at least...not better than Double Vision or the Ring but a decent one. At least it looks like an instant classic when compared to 'THEY'
Come to think of it..i'm writing a script for the sequels to THEY since any crapshitty script seems to make big bucks these days.
I shall name the sequels "THEM', "THOSE" and "THESE"

greetings. this page was created mainly to give people a little information and to clear up some common misunderstandings and rumors. i think it's important for everyone who is either a fan, or who opposes manson, to know something about the band. as a fan you ought to be able to provide some basic information to people who ask questions. if you are against manson then you should at least understand what you are opposed to. believing in unconfirmed rumors is just silly.
marilyn manson was born with the name brian hugh warner, and changed his name to marilyn manson in the late eighties. his mother and most of his family call him brian, his father calls him manson, saying it is out of respect for the artist, which i'm sure manson appreciates. a lot of people try to show off and call him brian, but i believe he's prefer being called mr. manson.

manson was born in canton, ohio, where he attended a christian school, called heritage christian. he has mentioned in interviews that he learned a lot about the music genre he later got into at school, as during assembly they would show students the "wicked" records and order them not to buy them. apparently the young brian went into business for himself at that time. he would purchase the forbidden albums and sell them to classmates who weren't allowed to listen to such music. later he would steal the albums back from unlocked lockers. i find that very funny somehow, don't you?

later, the warner family moved to boca raton, florida. mr. manson studied journalism in college, before quitting to pursue his musicial dreams. he says that he "wanted to be the one answering the questions" instead of the interviewer, he wished to be interviewed, which he is. a lot. *s*. he was involed in a few different short-term bands, such as mrs. scabtree and satan on fire. one song "herpes" which names girls in the area with std's was played on the local radio station. mrs. scabtree and satan on fire stuff is really rare...buy it if you see it! he has also been in fairy with billy corgan of the smashing pumpkins, and a few other bands. from the beginning, marilyn manson (formerly known as marilyn manson and the spooky kids) was a strong band with a playful attitude masking a serious mesage.
since the early days of marilyn manson, the band has been really fan oriented. there was originally a spooky-kids hotline, and some messages from it can be heard on various bootlegs and demos, such as the demos in my lunchbox series, from the no-longer-in-existance kts.
there used to be regular newsletters, featuring hand drawn art of manson, that were sent out to fans. i have some, others i would love a copy of. the marilyn manson family was set up early in the bands existance, and still is around today. it's a fan club, you get an adoption certificate, some promotional items, you are put on the mailing list, and once in a while you recieve neat bonuses. for instance, all family members were sent a cassette copy of the single "dope show" in august of 1998. want to sign up? check out satan's bakesale
the first album out by marilyn manson was "portrait of an american family". there have been two other albums, and two ep's. the albums are "antichrist superstar" and "mechanical animals", and the ep's are "smells like children" and "remix and repent". numerous box sets, demos and bootlegs have emerged as well. many books have been writted about manson, the official auto-biography is entitled "the long hard road out of hell". i recommend that everyone read this book, even if you don't like manson. it's interesting, and it provides a ton of facts, half-truths and outright lies. plus, it puts thoughts in your head that can be used on a rainy day.
rumors have been a huge part of marilyn manson on the internet. of course, they are false. manson didn't get a rib removed to give himself oral sex. he wasn't on the wonder years. he didn't stick a fork in his eye and leave it there for the remainder of a meal *my favorite from coyotes page*. for more rumor-busters, visit coyote's and check out the biography as well.
does marilyn manson encourage drugs? people ask me this all the time. marilyn manson doesn't encourage anything, except individualism.

marilyn manson makes no secret of his drug use, but he doesn't push drugs. if fans do drugs because of him, they are missing the message. he doesn't encourage suicide, satanism, rebellion or violence either-those are common misunderstandings made by people who don't listen to the music, misunderstand the lyrics, want to spread hatred against marilyn manson, or are just confused.
many heavy metal groups get blamed for the suicides of fans. but the blame does not belong to them. the kid, or adult, who chooses to kill themselves makes a choice. they want to die, or at least they think they do. no musician hands them a gun or a knive and says "do it!". why would they? the blame might lay with the parent though. after all, it's the parent or family that lives with the child. they can notice depression, anxiety, frustration, eating disorders, self-injury, change in personality, etc. they can talk to the child or get them some help. they can care enough to do something besides sit by and ignore behavior that bothers them. but, to stick with the topic, manson does not encourage suicide. he thinks it's pathetic, weak and stupid. he has said so.
contrary to popular belief, marilyn manson is not a satanist. he was given the honor of reverendship by anton szandor lavey, the founder of the CoS, church of satan. marilyn manson is not a spokesperson for the church, he just shares SOME of the beliefs. he also shares some ideas from christianity and a variety of other religions, as well as personal ideas.
mr. manson does not host "altar calls" to satan, nor does he suggest that those attending his concerts sell their souls to satan. there are no satanic circles at the shows, nor satanic rituals, black magic, animal or human sacrifice or satanic orgies. no one is forced or asked to sign an allegiance to satan, no one is required to renounce god. mr.manson makes no religious requirements of his fans. there are fans of all religions: jews, atheists, wiccans/pagans, hindus, christians, satanists, tribal and native practitioners, agnostics, buddhists and others. you don't have to be any religion that you don't really believe in.

a common mistake is to assume mr. manson hates everything. in truth he hates christianity, how they have warped a lot of ideas and made them bad instead of helpful. perhaps you are curious, why is christianity bad? well, it's not, if you truly believe and follow those beliefs. but a lot of christian don't. they kill and hurt in the name of god. they are made to feel superior to others. plus, a lot of brainwashing goes on, and it can be damaging. manson himself suffered many nightmares of armageddon due to religious teachings.
