Reasons why I luv my new job

I grossly underestimated the journey time for service 72 and was 10 min late so we had to take a taxi to NCS hub which might turn out to be a blessing in disguise as the original bus that we had intended to take tranverses 11 bus stops before reaching its intended destintation; hence ending this incredibly long sentence.
The set-up of the welcome speech for NCS was strangely familar to the one i had at Prudential; more notably the 'compere' who also look and sound like Ivy lee.
Due to a sudden addition of project at MOE, the 4 of my original grp had to be split into 2 with me and Brian working at Temasek Poly (hooray ! ...its a 5 min walk from my house..not too mnay pple can boast of being so close to their work place do they)
I was surprised at the friendliness of my project supervisors while me and Brian were given our very own (brand new) Pentium 111 PCs to work with ..cool !!! Got to know my new collegues/sups Ivan, Kwee Keow, Danny , Amelia , Ian etc... who are really nice and easy-going ...esp Ivan and Kwee Keow my proj sup who spend 15 min showing us all the cool places in TP (which supervisor will do that to be serious )And she approved my leave without thinking ...
Basically our project concerns re-structuring the entire educational system of TP (switcing to a modular system similar to NUS )and this project is divied into many phases and all we had to concern ourselves with is the first 2 phases which imho isn't all that hard considering that we'll be doing the least work of all. Brian and i thus spendn the entire day surfin for JAVA -related stuff and softwares , that is after a tour around TP during lunch hour. TP is extremely tiny compared to NUS but their canteens and cafes were more exotic looking. They even have their very own online gaming center ...cool...if onli i can grab hold of a student pass.
Got an unexpected phonecall today too....looks like i haven been eniterly forgotten after A.I.M.S.
An unforgettable first day at work...i hope there are more good times to come..and that i can contribute something that i can be proud of...howveer insignificant it may seem.
Hah Alan Smith got sent off again and Leeds lost again ...these 2 events are becoming more and more common these days and they often go hand in hand.Another Houdini by the Red Devil's who must have signed another contract of the soul with the devil prince since their luck has been inpeecable good once again.

Meet Robin, Alan and Xiangping for Karaoke. Alan's bud also joined us. Alan promised a cheaper place that he brought us last time so i was eagering looking forward to the place which turned out to be inside a CC and full of screeching grannies. Oh ,i've got nothing against the nice grannies and aunties in all due respect; not against their horrible sreeching anyway.0k i was being extremely unkind there. I'm sort of a screeecher myself.
For 30 bucks for 3 1/2 hrs!! Should i expect quality service? Not at all.
Well, we enjoyed ourselves anyway and i even got myself an extra fruit punch coz the rest are too nice to prevent me from grabbing hold of it.
Well 3 and a half hours is kinda short but my thorat was sore from singing after that and i actually attempted "Its my life" by Bon Jovi...a NOT so horrible disaster coz i was lip synching anyway ..haha whispering actually
As expected Theresa (T - bird?? )was the next to get voted out. her last ditch attempt to get Big Tom voted out by lying was futile and unlike the previous 2 survivors...the oldest womaen will get voted out (or actually win it) last this time round. Way to go, Kim granny !!

Made up my mind to go back to office today but guess what , i slept late again.
Went for a swim for the first time in 2 years. To my surprise i swam quite well considering that i haven touched the pool in 2 years. I think i must have swam around 40 laps in 3 hours ( ok lap=breadth ..aha) without much trouble. I have never swam more than 20 laps in day before. Strange
Went on a mp3 download spree...Hans Zimmer is unbelievable!! Halloween from Aqua was hilarious !!!

Watched the Maradona tribute match left me in stiches. What a kelong match !!! Everyone on the pitch was trying to make him score , the opponents included. The refree never gave a penalty in his career and gave 2 in that match so HE could score. The goalkeeper even asked Maradona where he was going to shoot so he could do the obvious. Nice to see Suker and Cantona score some great goals and Heguita do the scorpion kick again...a half f**ked one though.
Hiro !! Hiro !! Listening to her was worth tuning to music station. I always tot she was the most talented of the gurls in SPEED although my fave was always Eriko. And what was that wonderful song she was singing ?? Gotta download it! -
My first time

Visited my 'old' fren Winsie (strictly business). Realise i shld have fixed an appointment instead of barging in like that. Stupid me !! Now the onli timeslot she's was 7-8 pm. There was a 4 hr block in between and i didn know how to spend it so went to watch LOTR alone. Kinda sad ..but i guess thats the onli chance left for me to watch it. I'll starting serious work tomolo.
A pretty but little crazy girl who was also watching alone sat beside me and she provided most of the entertaintment...shouting, giggling gasping thoughout the show. Halfway thru the show i wstaretd to get a biut worried When one of the characters died..she was almost weeping. Her legs were crouched up like its her private home theater and munching her potato chip. I hope she doesn't read this ( however improbable :) though
Anyway the show is GREAT!..I'm kinda like the ten-billionth person to say that but that just shows something doesn't it ??
Anyway, i went for my appointment after the show.
It seems everytime i see her, she's asking me to buy something....so i just reply everything she said with 'hah ?? " haha.. When i saw her with a kid...my natural response was :"who is she?" Her reaction was a little hostile though : " Did you think she was my kid ??!! " Oh well..based on what i saw in the exhibtion last time, i wun be surprised anyay ..Some parents look really young.
The rest is all business, my first time ( dun think dirty). The onli time we talked about abt stg outside business was when she asked me wtr i got my scar (below the eye) in a fight and also what i've been doing in the holidays. The rest of the time she was coaxing me to buy this and that and all the sutff were like above 1000 bucks (you'll have to kill me to make me spend so much $$ on those). Her boss Audrey is absolutely stunning (she looked 10 yrs younger than she actually is) !! The secrets of staying young and beautiful..i'll never be able to comprehend.
