Finally caught Attack of the Clones in the cinemas
Unlike what some people said, it wasn't all too bad at all..in fact , i enjoyed myself quite throughly. Some .org folks were complaining about the blur CGI and bad digital effects and so on but honestly i didn see any of those..tot the effects were top notch ... except for a particluar scene where i tot i saw something greenish around one of the planets (result of bad green screening??) that apparently wasn't supposed to be there, otherwise the effects were top notch.
I hate the guy playing anakin. He's the worst actor i've seen since Arnold Swarzhowtheheckdoyouspellhisnamenegger. Mark Hamill was a much ebtetr actor.
The much anticipated Yoda "gumi" bear fight was pretty average though..i so much prefer the duel with darth maul in Episode 1.

And now...why is Natalie called PadMe in AOTC?? The reason is obvious: in one of the scenes she was wearing white and could really do well with SOME padding. Her assets beneath the white clothing were screaming out: "Please Lucas, pad me." Geddit ??? :P

And Sameul L Jackson should never ..i repeat NEVER be allowed to fight again. His movements are so retrarded... the granny next door could have beaten him to a pulp in a lightsaber duel.
More trivials:
1) The dumbass traders invented the DEATHSTAR that is going to kill a lot of pple
2) The guy next to me spent half the movie playing with his handphone ...frantically messaging his whoever when the best fight scene in the movie is happening on screen..is that sad or what ???
I've heard about addiction to handphones but that has gone a little too far...and maybe i shld concentrate more on the movie itself than such trivials

Also finished Scryed and watched 2 other movies ( downloaded)over the weekend.
SCRYED: I used to think it's soo cool but the last few episodes contained so much pointless violence that i'm changing my mind. This coming from a Berserk fan. The last episode must have been a rip-off from flame of recca -- and how can 2 enemy-turned-friends be so STILL bitter (after all they have been through) as to tear each other's hair, throat and guts out in a friendly duel ???
THE NEW GUY: I always knew high school comedies are trash but this has to take the largest slice of the cake (shit cake that is). Nothing in this world could have prepared you for this montrosity. The onli good thing to have come out from watching this trash is that you realise every other movie you are going to watch from now on will be infinitely more enjoyable.
And i tot Slackers was bad. The farelly brothers should STOP writing comedies....
FRIGHT NIGHT: I actually watched the second part before the first. Part 1 didn't have the digital effects that part 2 had but the mood is slightly more haunting and freakish. Maybe i'm too old but old school horror movies dun seem to scare me anymore.... esp comedies like these.

They turn hyperactive guys like me into invalids for the day.
And they made me miss Attack of the Clones with my pals.... guess i have to watch it alone then but then its nothing new. Had to watch Titanic alone when it came out coz all my frens were waiting for some magical gf to escort them to the movie or stg ...
Why can't a bunch of guys watch a romanctic movie together?? Weird...
But its gonna be another day before i get to see backward talking Yoda kick Dracula's ass.
