Beef's ghost topic in the forum reminded me of a little escapade i had with my frens.
This is 100% true...wtr you choose to believe it or not
OK. So it happened that me and a couple of my frens decided to visit one of the most haunted house in Singapore. It was very much broken down and deserted like any other haunted house. There was this lonely long road that leads to the house after we climed over the gate and by the time we got to the porch..we were slightly freaked out ( man i'm telling you..the house looks absolutely spooky even from outside the gate)
here are some pictures i found on the web..Its called the hillsview mansion...(rumours had it that the face of the devil could be found on one of the walls at night)

Btw , we were pondering on wtr we shld go into the house when one of my frens said something totally out of the blue. He said , " whoever's in there, if you do not want us to disturb you, please give us any form of a signal."
After an agonising wait of abt 10 seconds, the branches of the tree to our right started shaking violently and THERE WAS NO WIND AT ALL.
We were totally freaked out and ran as far as our shaky legs could take us.
And we are not going back there again !!

Damn ....that was one big thread. Firstly i wun comment on wtr Xeno is wrong or right subjectively or objectively.
I just didn't like the way some pple jumped on Xeno like "look they're bullying a kid..let's join in"
A few of you guys hated him not for his ideals or anything but for the fact that he succeeded. If phade had made the second post saying "f**K off!!! Hmvs are here to stay" none of you guys would give a piss.
Maybe he was wrong but the least one could do was argue it in a civlised manner. Most of you guys made good claims abt why censorship is bad but there are a few who just jumped on the bandwagon swearing and cussing like a 5 year old. It reminded me of why i hated some of my ex-classmates in secondary school; people who prayed to the powerful and stepped on the weak. These are the people i despise most. If it was Kevin Caldwell or Joe that brought up the topic will they react the same way..nope. guess NOT. I saw in the thread the ugliness of mankind. What ever happened to the ideals of free speech and fighing for rights? Are you guys suggesting that in an election if there were 19 from party X and 1 from party Y, the guy from party Y shouldn't even be allowed to stand for election since he's the only one and we shouldn't give no shit abt the minority ?? And what's with all the name callings? All he did was voice his opinion; its really up to Phade to decide what was to be done and he did so quit the flaming !!
There were those who were really angry abt it and probably spoke their mind a ittle too bluntly. Sometimes we all flare up and use the wrong words...i do sometimes but those i really despised were the cowards who hid behind their nicks and jumped on some poor soul the moment they had the chance to. The morality of hentai vids were prob the last thing on their mind..all they wanted was someone to pick on.
Xenodrake: i disagree with ur policy on banning hmvs but i admired the way you dealt with all the name-callings and stuff.

What a great day of soccer !! Wow !! The new boots really did the trick. I was playing like a possesed man in attack but still pretty much vulnerable in defence :P
I think this is no coincidence that i play much better when Jason's in my team. We combined so well as a strike partnership. There was this moemnt when i made a diagonal pass and he ran on to it and score. That sums up our telepathy.
I did score quite number of good goals today. One of them will go down as one of my all time faves! I forgot who it was but when one of my team mates pumped up a hopeful long ball i was with my back facing the goal and hardly in a dagerous position. With everyone expecting me to chest the ball down or trap the ball with my foot, in a moment of madness ( or sheer genuis..hehe)i flicked the ball over my head and into the goal with the keeper (Mark) stranded.
I remebered Mark's expression (he had the "this is so wrong' expression on his face ^_-) then ..it was priceless....and to see that on my greatest doubters was a charming moment for me.
Oh no .....its the President Star Charity show . Eek !! Seeing TCS toture its stars to gain the call ratings reminded me of the show i watched the night before -- Roller ball !! ...its the most screwed up show i've seen this year ... its such a flopbuster..makes other flops (Like slackers) look like blockbusters! Enough of the show...at least the ending was a little satisfying ..and i mean emotionally ( coz the bad guy gets scrwed) and not visually. The editing was a nightmare to watch and makes the lINKIN-BALL creators look like award winners !!
I didn like the way the stars begged for donations. I can understand if they really cared for the Kidney patients and wanted as much donations as possible...but the way they set a target 9 and go all out to reach it) made me very cynical...will they get a pay rise if the target is reached ?? Why issit such a tragedy if the donations feel short of the target by a few thousand dollars and when the target was reached, they celebrated like Singapore had just won the world cup. Why was the margin of a few thousand dollars so crucial ??
What happened to all the tears that were shed to gain sympathy once the target is reached ?? The show was extended last year so that the target can be reached....if it helps..why didn't the producers make a 3 hr show in the first place ?? How many of the stars really went thru all the toture willingly ?? Was there something we didn know?? Why were kidney patients getting all the donations year in year out.. ?? I mean there are other people who need help...the eldery, the cancer patients, etc...
A Jack Neo statement towards the end of the show summed it all up
" C'mon guys ...make more donations... if else we will not reach OUR TARGET."
Shouldn't it be ...
" C'mon guys, make more donations...every dollar counts.."
Dun get me wrong..i feel everyone shld donate to the kidney patients. I just didn like the way the show was run ...to deceieve the public. The way the stars shed tears and give speeches like " it doesn't matter if i die..just call 1900-***-*** to donate."
The time the stars spend to learn acrobatic stunts could be spend on raising fund for the kidney patients like auctioning stuff etc..
Its wrong..very wrong.
Time to go before i get sued.
