Wednesday 4th December, had the appearance of a new moon in the sky meaning......
The Islamic period of fasting (Ramadan) has come to an end. This means that the following day, today, Thursday the 5th is Eid-ul-Fitr in the country of Britian and maybe other countries across the world, depending, well if they saw a new moon the previous night.
EID MUBARAK to all muslim AMV creators out there and hope you all have a good day.
Alright, that said and out the way. I'm continuely thinking about 2 ideas for AMVs and both, i think can work well however, the second one which I'd like to do to "Child in Time" by Deep Purple seems to need far more planning time and strength behind its idea.
Currently I have quite a bit of work for uni so, these 2 jobs will be put on the back burners. As we all know that work comes first. NOOOOOO!!!
Ach well, what has to be done, has to be done. Its late and I have things to take care of during the day, so I'm off, laters. -

Just woke up a few hours ago, now in uni probabbly for about an hour or so. It's meant to be my week off but, being in the house has bored me. Thought I might pop in for a little while before I go and break my fast today.
Well, this holy month of fasting comes to an end sometime next week possibly, Thursday or Friday, it all depends on the new moon. The day the new moon is on, will be Eid-ul-Fatar; Christmas, if you will, for the Muslims.
Please do not think I'm trying to force Islam on you, I am merely informing you of what happens at this time in the Islamic Religion and what I'm going through. No food or drink from sunrise to sunset, then a meal with the family gathered together or with friends. One way you could look at it is, our period of fasting is like the Christan period of Lent.
Just finished watching FLCL last night now, that is seriously funny and well animated sadly, only 6 episodes. Also I'm currently watching Noir, Trigun, Hellsing, Love Hina, Witch Hunter Robin (WHR) and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (GitS:SAC).
WHR is similar to Hellsing but, with witches instead of vampires. Both of them are really good and WHR is very beautifully animated with some nice character designs.
GitS:SAC is as well animated as the film GitS if, not better and the character designs have also, in some ways, been improved on for some characters.
Also Love Hina, Noir and Trigun are really class comedy-wise with Love Hina and Trigun, also Noir does have the odd little jokes in it that are funny. I'm just getting into the more serious episodes of Trigun and I think even with the drop in comedy, overall the anime will not suffer.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone in America. - What is there to do ? Nothing at the moment. 2002-11-01 06:43:06 Ok, this all is a bit boring now, nothing really to do around here, I'm currently in a decision period to come up with some sort of ideas for a bunch of AMVs I'm thinking of doing. Wait there's that thing i started last night, I guess it is time to finish the job, so later, course work to hand in and jobs to finish.

Waiting for new host to process order

Man, this is boring. Kicking around waiting for the new host, I signed up with recently. When I had a gander at it I thought it would be good but, I can't disagree with this little wait as my second amv can be finished and added to the site content. Hopefully the whole site including the 2 amvs will be hosted soon.
On another note, Refuge of the Damned is now a one man operation, as the other 3 now have more important things to deal with. However I will survive on my own, and there are still spaces reserved for them if they want to return.
