Oh, and direct DVD editing is the sweetest of all AMV nectars. I doubted it back when it first was revealed, but Ermac and AD deserve mad props for spiffing it up and making it oh so tasty. Doesn't hurt that my new system LOVES it either. Old system dug it, but the color errors and black clip preview images are now a thing of the past... which is the best thing that they ever could have done.
Vid still coming along, and it will be finished within a month. I'm motivated (again) to see it through till the end and will not fail (again). Too bad it's just an action vid... I wish I had something more worthwhile to have consumed the whole year. Better things will come first thing next year... again, motivation is back, baby! -

No idea why I'm posting this, but since only 3 people are likely to read it, HoooooooHaaaaaaaawwww!
Planning some more editing this weekend since I finally got a break from school work. So, here's hoping I get a good portion of this vid down so I can put it out and move on.
I find myself getting ideas galore, but never get around to making them all cause of this current vid sitting on my drive. I want the bugger to be the best it can, but I know I'm just over thinking it and need to go with what works and then finish it already. I got so many more unique and moving ideas to get through and attempt, so I REALLY gotta nail this sucker out and forget it. I keep saying the same thing... d`oh!
If I'm not done by mid Nov, then it's going to be deleted... there we go, motivation! It won't last... *sigh*
Oh, right, it's my b-day in 2 hours. The big 22, making me even closer to 25... I wish that meant something... but me thinks 25 HAS to be the year that something cool happens... just because I said so, dagnabit!

It's been an on and off process, but I finally sat down and tweaked a bit of my video tonight. I've been avoiding it, but I just got some new ideas for absolutely no reason and I've decided to give it hell! At least for a few days...
Since I've really no deadline, I've decided to give this vid a release date of "when it's done". Hell, if ID software and 3d realms can do it, why can't my lazy ass? It shall be a fine day when it is finished, cause I then I can finally work on the really good AMV ideas I seem to get every week!
Oh, and Mario Sunshine is one of the top sweetest games in the history of lickable software, I feel I must document this. ;)
Now if only them Hypeodermic/Random Variable boys could stop whooping my ass in Counterstrike, then the world will be mine! *laughs like Skeletor* -

New system is up and running, even have replacement harddrive! Boooyah!!!!

Latest vid looking pretty sweet so far, almost have every bit restored from previous harddrive. Can't believe how long it's taking to finish this, gonna have to spend some time with the series again to get my brain flowing on it. My ETA for this beeyatch is mid September, I damn well better make that deadline, not like I've anything more pressing to attend to.
That's really it from me, not a whole lot happening besides vid editing and Warcraft 3. That game is so damn addictive, even when you're forced to get your ass whooped repeatedly just to figure it out. Now if only I could get back into reading about After Effects, man that program be fiiiiiiiiiiine. -
Worst... summer... ever...

I managed to jump the hurdle of not having a system to work with... well, sort of, read on.
After searching the internet to research the cost of a new system, my parents were kind enough to front the money to pay the $300 bill. So, I got the processor and RAM, and ordered a motherboard. The motherboard was all set to be delivered this past Tues, it made it all way to my city, but never arrived... So I logged on and checking the tracking info only to see a log stating that the package was damaged in transit. Damaged? Transit?!? You're in the same city !!! That's minutes away from my house!!! Morons...
So they sent it back to Utah, where it came from, so now I have to wait till this coming Tues for it to arrive there and probably till 2 Fridays from now to actually get it... If only I had waited a few days till Newegg.com got it in stock again, I woulda had it 2 days after the order... Bah, want computer.
Anywho, I did manage to confiscate my parents Duron system, it's a poor substitute, but I have managed to recapture and reedit the first 37 sec to one of my lost videos. Pain in the ass to redo past work, but it's paying off.
My dead drive actually DID make it back to IBM, took bloody forever, so now I just gotta wait for them to find me a replacement and ship it. Kinda feel like I've only one testicle without that drive (if I may make that simile) cause my live 40 GB isn't quite enough to support my AMV editing cravings.
Guess I'll get back to editing, that or play with After Effects. Unemployment never felt so good... ;)
