DSL makes me a zombie

I think everything's in the title... I did so many things when I had no internet connection. Now what? Chatting. Downloading. Websurfing. And my appartment's getting a mess.
Damn... I have to get my life back.
Thanks for reading anyway.

Big change in my life
2004-01-23 17:33:12
Hey people, I'm writing this from San Bernardino, California. My company sent me here for a 6-months mission.
I will miss French food (I already do), but I think this will be fun and worth it.
One week-end was enough for me to move to the USA. One week-end was also enough to kick me out of the 2004 VCA contest because I had no internet access and couldn't fix a tiny problem in my AMV list (my first AMV, made three years ago, had no musical artist, oh my, that was a terrible mistake for the 2004 contest, and in fact, I actually didn't know the artist).
I'm quite mad about that.
I feel like Anthem and/or Zombie could finally have had their chance, but they will never.
Hope is the worst thing one can have. Never count on anything to happen, you can only be disappointed.
I still believe that Zombie and Anthem are first-class AMVs, and they are actually part of my personnal top (not the one on .org which has never been up to date). Not because they're mine, but because I actually love them.
Thanks for reading!

P.S.: anybody reading this who lives near San Bernardino, CA? I would love to meet people sharing my interests for anime and AMV.

An entry a day keeps the doctor away. (Then I should be sick...)
2003-12-23 10:52:38
It's been more than three weeks since I've started my new job. I don't have much to tell about it: I like it. (And I knew I would like it since I had made a training period last year in the same company.)
Errr, I wish I could have written more, but I just got a phone call, and now I've got a train to take.
Dear readers, I wish you a very merry Christmas and a very very happy new year! (Just in case this would be the last entry since then.)

Right now someone is reading this entry title

My hit count is incremented by 6 or 7 at each new journal entry. Which means that YOU are one of the very few lucky people who will ever read this!
I'm a bit disappointed with my last vid, Anthem... I knew it would have supporters and detractors, so its average star rating is not a problem.
But I had imagined it would be more discussed. It just looks like some people said "yeah, that's great, nothing to say about it", and the others said "that's shit, it doesn't deserve discussion".
Some people said it was the first AMV in its genre... Maybe it will be the last.
I'm not complaining... I'm just a bit disappointed.
Totally unrelated: tomorrow I'm moving to my new city, Toulouse. On monday I start my new job (and first job as non-trainee!). I'm glad there's some change happening in my life.
Thanks for reading. Dear audience, if you're also writing a journal, please give me your user ID, I would love to read it.
