I've narrowed down my decision for this Halloween's costume to TWO choices, and I'm struggling with the decision, so I would like some opinions!     Pizza tonight! It's on its way now. One veggie-lover's and one barbecue pizza, hold the anthrax.

    This anthrax stuff is bothering me. I shouldn't let it. More people die in a day from lightning strikes and car accidents--hell, probably even from choking on ferrets--than have died from these isolated antrax cases. It just bothers me that people can anonymously mail envelopes full of Powdered Death to other people.

    I don't want to read about the color of the tassels on the curtains in the room down the hall from where a dog is barking that was once owned by the stablehand who said hello the ancestor of the main character of the book.

    In short, Jordan describes shit too much! I read books because I enjoy excellent character development and interaction. I read three chapters of the first book of The Wheel of Time series. It was only endurable because I was in a doctor's waiting room at the time. I never picked it up again. I'd have enjoyed reading a pamphlet on heart disease more.

    Give me David Eddings. There's character development for you.
