Farging DANCE?!?!
Who put the "Dance" selection so close to the "Drama" selection in Enter New Video? ~.~ This is the fourth, maybe fifth time I've had to edit a vid because the honking "Dance" selection got ticked off instead of "Drama", which, in turn, ticks me off. I don't do dance vids; hell, I don't dance.
At least, not in any socially acceptable fashion.
But that a different rant.
Perhaps I should stop premiering at 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning... -

To make room for the non-anime music videos (yeah, right, the Harry Potter fan vids, confess, CONFESS), the Raging Otaku folder in the Yahoo! Briefcase has been emptied out. Sorry it this really puts anyone out, but the four proper AMVs have been uploaded and are available locally.

Studio was HATING on me tonight.
More like hating on a new vid.
Same diff.
I had to trick the thing into rendering the vid. For whatever cockamamie reason, it got all squirrely with the audio. Just would not let me audio the music track no way, no shape, no how. Could delete it, but then, could not add it back in. Finally had to render the whole vid as an avi (sans music) and then make the vid with just the big honking avi and then carefully add the music in and adjust the timing. Did that make any sense? NO. Because it should have only taken four hours and instead took TEN. X_X

I'm just not.
But I do have this to say: for anyone who might use Pinnacle Studio, do not, DO NOT, no matter how they might entice you, simply don't upgrade to 9.3 -- it's buggy as all get out. Stick with what you have or get 9.0 -- it's far more reliable. Sure, 9.0 is still wonky, but you will not have problems hearing audio on playback or even acquiring audio in the first place, never mind the crashing to the desktop that occurs for no bloody reason.
I'll put up with 9.0 freezing time to time and with it wigging out when asked to look at too many AVIs. The whole sometimes audio / sometimes not business with 9.3 is far more annoying than freezes and freak outs. o.O
By the way, thanks to the six people who gave some stars to a couple of the vids. ^.^ I only hope to improve. Or, in the very least, continue to terrorize the populace with mediocre vids. Heh. -

I am royally rotten with this whole journal/diary/chronicle sort of thing. Feh. >.<
Finally posted an anime related music video, immediately followed by another Harry Potter fanvid. Something very wrong with me.
First anime video, first cracks at lip synching. Kinda shoddy. The one legit image manipulation wasn't too bad, though. Still playing with everything. Timing, editing, transitions, storytelling, whatnot. And just indulging in some goofy ideas, like pairing Broadway with Harry Potter.
Something definitely wrong with me. O.o
Thinking of doing another anime centric vid. Should really do more of those anyways. There are only so many Harry Potter vids that people can take...
Just wait until HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban is released. TEE-HEE. ^.^'
In the meantime, Premiere can bite me and Studio needs to get over it's .avi issues. And that's all I have to say about that.
