  • Heart pounding, mouth dry, palms sweaty, adrenaline rush... 2003-11-11 02:39:46 God I loved being a Fighter. And not in the tradiational Role-playing sense either, I'm talking really fighting, like street-Fighting or boxing.
    Luckly, I never got into that (unless you count REAL wrestling, not the WWE but high school, college, and olympic stuff).

    A chummer of mine picked up Soul Calibur 2 for X Box the other day, and there was about 5 or 6 of them around the tv. He didn't have all the characters unlocked (And I doubt he will. He doesn't have the attention span needed to get through Weapons Master Mode to unlock them) but still. I took the controller and it started. My heart pounding... The adrenaline following through me... He selected Spawn and I picked Mitsurugi. It took a little while but I got back into the groove. After losing the first round, I made a come back. He wished for a rematch.
    I decided that the time for a decent challenge had passed and it was time to give this guy a lesson. I had choosen Maxi.

    So then the controller was passed. I had picked Kilik while my new opponent picked Spawn. Luckly for me Kilik plays a lot like Sueng Mina. It was close with a 0-1 match (I was Player 2) then a Double KO.

    After that they put the game away and watched a movie.

    I did tell them before hand that I had 100% completed my copy on the Gamecube in about 26 hours.

    I just miss being in the spotlight for a match. I truely enjoy performing for a crowd of people. I still remember playing Marvel vs Capcom 1. I had Roll and Megaman as a team. After I beat the game and got Roll's ending (It was my goal to get everyone's ending and I've done it) I stood up and there were about 12 people behind me, awestruck (mainly cause I did it without continuing).

    Life was good when I was in the arena. 
  • Timezone difference 2003-11-03 00:25:58 Some of you that read this article of wit, (and I know some of you do.) may find it interesting about how I said that 3 in the afternoon was "early" for me. And also why I continualy post at such odd hours.

    I'm glad you asked that question.

    See, I'm in a magical place called Guam. It's on the other side of the world somewhere between Japan and Australia. Over here, when I post, it's ususally around 17 hours ahead of the server clocks. So in actuallity, I'm living a day ahead of most of you. That "early" post was done at about 8:30 in the morning of the 29th.

    It also seems that I've stopped my customary "Leech Out" signiture. Unless any of you object (do so by emailing me) I wont be continuing this tradition.

    I guess that's it for now. 
  • Ok, so it's been a week... 2003-10-28 15:34:28 Sorry about the delay.
    Seems like nothing's really going for me right now. Money problems.
    Think I just need to spend a couple of months with my atm card locked away.

    Final found someplace that has the first disc of Noir. As soon as I get the money, it's going in the case.

    Ahh, it's too early for me to write anything.

    If anything I would like to know who my audience is.

    Any way, Things are starting to get bogged down. I just ruined my Gameboy Advance and my copy of Final Fantasy Tactics (about half-way through the game too). So now I need to go buy another SP (maybe Black or Red this time... unless they have a green one) and another copy of the game.

    So now with a bunch of free time on my hands, I've turned back to Art, Shadowrun, writing, and other RPGs. And Dune. I'm back to reading the Dune series. Hopefully I'll finish it by next month (the entire series, not just one book). 
  • Sorry about the wait... 2003-10-20 00:21:57 But things have been really busy around.

    Looks like I might get a new system.... and I'M BEGGING YOU TO ALL THAT READ THIS!!! WHAT VIDEO CARD DO YOU RECOMEND THAT I GET???

    So hopefully I'll be sending Phade some money AND some videos by the end of the year. I'll be working of Eva Dreams and Love Hina Not (The second is a new idea I had while listening to Papa Roach... oooohh better check to make sure no one else has done it.)

    I guess that's all for now.
