Backup of Journal complete...
2005-12-11 12:56:55
All the way back to when I first joined the org. How about that. Lots of crazy things have definitely happened since then. And it was a lot of fun remembering them.
Things like watching hockey on New Year's Eve. The Leafs were once playing in Vancouver (which is a game televised from 10:00pm to 1:00am), so it actually ran over into the New Year. Don't worry about the players, it was only 7:00pm to 10:00pm in Vancouver. Anyways, supposedly at one point int he game, a small countdown appeared at the bottom of the screen, and it was then that we only realized that New Year's Eve was almost over! Almost missed it that year!
Or the crush I had on a teacher back in grade 11. That was a good story. I was playing cards with some friends, and when I had thwarted one guy's plan to win the game, he got upset (playfully) but this teacher spotted him and started getting pretty upset. You know talking about how not to throw cards and all that stuff. But everything was directly related to me. And she kept using my full name. Things like, you can throw cards, just not at Kevn. It was really weird. And she's one of the nicest teacher's ever, which got everyone at my table kinda confused. After that everyone was like, what's going on between you and the teacher. Of course back then, I could only wish that that was true. lol
And another entry on when I moved my room to the basement. I was only 15 when I did this. It's really weird when I read about my life when I was only 15. Not only that, but it's weird to think I'm 19 right now, and have already spent 1 ˝ years in Unviersity. Wow does time fly or what.
Oh ya, I saw Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban last night. Good movie. It might even be my favourite one, better than the Goblet of Fire. Just maybe. I really liked the darkness of it too. I wonder why they didn't keep the same director. Maybe they thought it was too dark for a novel who's primary target audience was supposed to be children. lol

Plan isn't going according to... Well, the plan...
2005-12-09 05:28:55
I wanted to go to sleep around 6:00pm everynight. And then wake up around midnight to start studying before an exam. No such luck. There's always something going on. Whether there's a project I need to finish, or my girlfriend wants to talk, I'm only getting to sleep around 8:00pm. That's bad because I only wake up around 2:00am. And what's worse is when I sleep in until 4:00am. Why is so hard just to be different? lol
I had a nice dream though. It was about one of my old teacher whom I used to have a crush on. It was actually more of a memory than anything. Still nice though. It makes me wonder if I'll ever see her again...
Lots of snow tonight. That's one thing I like about the winter, is when it starts snowing, it gets really bright. You know, all that reflection of light on snow. Anyways, I wonder if it'll snow enough to cancel exams tomorrow... Man, would that be heavenly. ^_^
I finally finished my qui though. You know those internet quizzes? Well, I actually made one of my own. It's about 200 questions. Ya, pretty long. I've been working on it for awhile now. I wanted good questions, and none that would prove too personal that people may shy away from answering them all. Questions like "Who is the ugliest person you know?". That's just cruel. Anyways, I'll probably send it out tomorrow. I would love to put my own answers tonight, but it would take me a bit of time, and I really should get something to eat and get cracking on that studying. Can't just hope for a snow day. -_-

The examination period has bugun...
2005-12-05 03:08:46
This is it. In a few hours I have the first of six exams during a week and a half period of time. Talk about crunch time.
Speaking of that, I should really be studying. I went to sleep around 5:30pm so that I could wake up around midnight and study until my exam. The sleep went over pretty well, but the studying did not. At least I have now until the exam...
Supposedly the trailer for X-Men 3 will coming out into theatres with the relaese of King Kong. Sounds pretty sweet. Godo thing I already want to see King Kong, because it would suck if I had to go watch a bad movie just see a trailer. lol
As of right now, all the dinners for my entire Christmas Break as almost filled! Every night there's somwhere I need to be. Now that's crazy! Whether it's being at a friend's house, at my mother's house (think about that one for a bit and you'll realize something drastic has happened in my family), my neighbour's house, my apartment downtown or my house in my hometown to cook dinner myself. I guess there's be no time for McDonald's this year. lol
I wish I could say more, but I really don't want to start feeling gulity about having not studied enough for this exam. Not to mention it's open-book, so I should at least make some decent notes to being with me.

Reliving the past...
2005-12-03 12:21:19
I'm still backing up my old entries. There are just so many. And the further back I go, the longer and more frequent they become. I've gotten to a point where 2 years ago I used to post everyday and with a decent length. Enough that it all couldn't be held by single Text document! Now that's a lot! lol
When I was glancing over my entries, I was reading a few which were very exciting, about a crush of mine. 0_0 I was talking about how she had come to see her friend play hockey, and was excited when she realized I was playing too. But I never mentionned her name, and I can't quite remember who it was. Man, this is going to drive me nuts trying to figure it all out! lol My life was so much more interesting than it is now... -_-
I haven't shaved in a whole week! The hair on my face is even nice and soft. A friend of mine thinks I should keep it going, but I know that when my mother visits me later tonight, she won't be very appreciative of it. lol The only reason I kept it was because all my three all-nighters this week. I figure if I'm going to sleep that little, I should really look the part. It would have been four, but we were given an extension on the last project.
The new test is exams. They start Monday, and in the span of 10 days, I have 6 exams. Doesn't sound that bad, that's including a weekend, so this week I have 4 exams, and next week, two. It'll be tought with them all so bunched up together, but the consolation is that I finish school quite early. Leaves lots of time for Christmas shopping.
Anime on tv. There's so much to watch, and I just haven't the time to watch it, even after I've recorded it to tape. I have three weeks worth of InuYasha, Naruto, Zatch Bell, Witch Hunter Robin, Pokémon, Samurai Jack and Ghost in the Shell SAC on mutltiple tapes. Stuff I usually die over when I forget to record it, yet for some reason I just don't have the drive to watch it. Weird... Hopefully with exams I'll have a bit more time to watch a few shows. ^_^

April 2004...
2005-11-29 04:45:26
What was I thinking?!?! Well, I'm in the middle of backing up all my previous Journal entries on .org since I've written quite a few interesting things in my life, and am well into 2004. While copyng one by one, April just seemed to go on forever! An entry everyday, and an average of three times more worth of stuff than anything I've written in 2005! Back in my youth I really did enjoy being on the internet... lol
3 projects, 2 days, and not even a weekend to work during to have them completed. I think it would be an accurate assumption that blood could be spilt by the end of the week, and most likely it would be my own. lol!
The art of wanting what's not yours. It's a very dangerous skill. Or perhaps better summed up with the phrase, "You don't know what you've got until it's gone". No, I haven't lost anything. But it's the idea that I own over 150 anime DVDs, yet have probably only watched half of them. Everytime I rent something, I only get around to watching it on the day it's due back. Why is it that everytime I think about watching anime, the adrenaline starts pumping, but when given the opportunity, I pass on the chance. Just like my pool at home! Everyone always tells me that if they had a pool, they'd use it everyday and have parties all the time, yet I do the opposite. Would I behave in the same manner if I were in their shoes? This has gotten bad enough that I have three weeks worth of aniem shows taped to watch, but still can't bring myself to sit down and watch it. New episodes of InuYasha, Zatch Bell, Witch Hunter Robin, Naruto and Ghost in the Shell: SAC are just waiting for me. And yet if ever go out for the weekend and forget to record these specific shows, I get horribly disappointed in myself and worry about what I'm missing. Talk about a strange world. 0_0
