  • A look back v2? 2006-07-05 08:30:07 Okay I'm not going to make a huge entry like InfinitySquared coz I haven't released anything worth talking about or promoting. Basically me and AMVs happened like this. I first got into AMVs when an internet friend I made started making DBZ and Final Fantasy AMVs for me to Linkin Park and Limb Bizcuit(sp?), mind you these were very good, too bad he didn't know about these place, those WMM AMVs were well above average. Then I made my first AMV when I just turned 13 (18 right now), it was a Linkin Park FF9 one. Then for a long time I didn't care about AMVs except I found Koop's Euphoria intriguing. Then came my home city first anime convention Wai-Con 2004. I decided to 'remaster' my first AMV and submit it along with a Record of Lodoss War OVA/Star Ocean EX AMV. When I won 2nd place after tieing with InfinitySquared's 'Talk To Me' AMV (which is good coz I loved that AMV when I saw it at the competition, mine was crap in comparison) interest grew again. And Mark the person who said "oh, I think the winner was this Midori no Hibi video" was me :P Then I asked InfinitySquared for his hotmail, and he introduced me to Cyberlink Powerdirector and I got back into making AMVs. Then InfinitySquared formed the studio 'amvience' and invited me to join which further motivated me as I felt like I was apart of something/belonging somewhere which meets my hobbies/interest. Then my first non-wmm video 'Needing You' won 2nd place at Wai-Con 2005 (widescreen by the way, the one here is still in wrong aspect ratio x_X). At the start of this year I realised that powerdirector was heavily killing my synch so I changed to Adobe Premiere Pro then learnt Final Cut Pro doing a major in Electronic Art at university. I also organised the song for the Ninetail MEP and co-ran it with InfinitySquared. I then became the AMV Coordinator for Wai-Con 2006 and started joining a lot of MEPs =|

    That's pretty much it.
  • Mass Release o_O 2006-06-12 05:01:05 Erm how come all of a sudden the majority of the 'Journal Gang' released an AMV? If it was a week apart then that would make sense but this just seems like a world domination plan to me or perhaps its because I have uni exams this week >_>
  • pwned or got pwned? 2006-04-17 05:13:02 LOL dw Clamp-X they are just jealous of your wicked AMV.

"Next time how about a story or plot?" *person runs downstairs crying* XD

Warning: Clamp-X's Bleach AMV titled "Chance (contest version) should not be viewed by those studying, working or in stressful situations due to its apparent addictiveness.

Short action scene changes = win
