Phew, thursday's classes are done with, one more day and it's the weekend! Anthropology class sucked today! I'm the only guy and the class is called Anthropology: Men and Women in a Cross-Cultural Perspective. Which pretty much means feminism101. Wish I knew that when I signed up for the course. So basically I have to hold it down for the guys in a room of feminists. It's hard to participate sometimes because virtually everyone is against me no matter what I say, just cuz I'm a guy. I'm pretty liberal so I'm all for equality and that stuff, but sometimes these feminists just get into male-bashing and I just can't take it.
But on the bright side, English class was cancelled. My professor broke her foot last week and I guess she broke the other one yesterday. I cheered.
My new AMV went online last night and I'm real excited about it. It's called "Hands Down" to FF8 and FFX. Probably one of my favorite songs ever.
I think the reason my AMV's don't get many hits is because I don't do popular songs. My buddy does some popular songs like Linkin Park and all those other over used ones, and brags about his hits. But how is your quality and your originality? I think I'd rather have those two than 200 hits in an hour.
- First entry 2005-04-14 00:02:21 Well, here's my first journal entry. I've been a member for a while and I've made about 5 videos now. I have a lot of downloads, mainly Final Fantasy ones. I'm a big FF fan, I've beaten pretty much all of the games, except FFXI, which I'm a 31DRK in. I'm 19 and a student at Assumption College in Worcester. When I'm not making/watching AMV's or playing a game, I like to party. usually every weekend is pretty crazy around here. I live on the cape and I like to sail, play guitar, and go to the beach. I sailed competitively in high school and I play volleybally, raquetball, and intramural hockey and football. I got kicked out of hockey for the season for fighting though :P (but he started it lol). I'm a big fan of all sorts of music, especially punk rock (yellowcard, the used, story of the year) and I really like Nobuo Uemetsu's music as well. My favorite beer is miller light, but legally I shouldn't be saying that. I'm single right now, I broke up with my long time girlfriend before coming to college, which, in retrospect, was a good idea. I love meeting new people, I love watching other people's AMV's, and I love giving out whatever advice I can.
