  • New Computer Coming 2007-12-05 15:28:51 Just wanted to stop by and tell everyone about my newest purchase. I bought an iMac. To get all the stats on it go here http://cassielssprite.deviantart.com/journal/15783348/.

    So...that AMV I mentioned in my last journal is postponed until I get my new baby in. Plus, I have some other AMV ideas to add to it.
    The only problem is it might take me awhile to get all the videos done. Since all my video classes at school use Avid, I plan on using it for my future projects so I can get a feel for it. I'm also ordering a book on Avid from Amazon to help me use the program to it's full potential.
    I'm really excited and patiently awaiting, and I only hope that my future projects will be better then my last.

  • Update - Because you so needed one! 2007-10-24 16:46:42 I've been away from this place for a little while to pursue my other addictions, hope you guys didn't miss me.

    I recently had a birthday, which means new CDs. Upon listening to the new CDs I came across a song by 12 Stones that I plan on using for my next AMV.
    I'll start on uploading the anime tonight while playing Final Fantasy VII.
    I've never really timed myself with these things, so I'm not sure how long it'll be until it's finished. Don't worry though, I'll make another entry once it's ready.

  • So what if I say... 2007-08-15 20:50:52 Alright, after listening to a bunch of old CDs, I realized I made a crapload of AMVs I never released on here.
    I was curious, what would you guys say I upload them? It couldn't hurt right. The worse that could happen is no one would watch them, right?
    So, I think within the next few weeks, I will upload some of my older AMVs I never put up. One of which was made to the hit Teenagers by MCR.
    I know, like we need another one, but it was made by me so that means it's 10 times cooler!
    I guess I'll see you guys around! 
  • Something's Missing 2007-04-12 11:48:52 Yes, that's right...something's missing in my life. It's a better movie editting program. I've been using WMM since God knows when, and I feel it's brought my editting process down. I have awesome ideas, and I sync everything so well, but once I send it to Save As Movie, all the work I did doesn't show up for some reason.

    I currently have 3 projects in the midst, and I figure I'm going to try to learn Vegas Video. I've had the program for years, I just never could figure out how to work it without it being a long long long process. So, I decided to actually sit down and start learning it. Then maybe my AMVs will be as good as I make them, not as good as WMM will let them be.

    One of these AMV ideas though, will be done in MovieMaker for the simple fact that the video quality is already crap...so using WMM won't make it any better or worse. I probably won't be hosting this AMV on here. It'll be made and will sit on my hard-drive for a year until I make a disc of the AMVs for 2007. Yes, I've done that every year, and you'd be shocked at how many AMVs I've made and not put on here. The AMV is going to be to Final Fantasy X, and it's using the in-game footage as well as the FMVs. However, it's not an original idea and like I said the quality of the footage is poor. But if you really want to see it once it's done, let me know.

  • It's Here! 2007-04-09 01:26:58 Well, sort of. After working on it for a week, I think I'm to the point where I like it. There's a few things I'd like to change, but it's nothing that won't take me a day. So, my video should be premiering tomorrow. I already set up the video description, so feel free to read if you want to.
    I'd also like to take this time to give a shout-out to godstriker. For some reason I felt I owed it to him to make another AMV, and that gave me the push to go for it...even if I wasn't quite sure the idea would work. I hope you like it!
