  • Same Ol' Same Ol' 2002-08-29 19:28:43 Still working and that below backing stuff up and such...

I think I may be crazy but I find making high quality Xvid (DAMN sigma desings [shakes fists]) backups are easier to manipulate and clip up into huffyuv than the VOB themselves.... I dunno... Maybe I'm crazy. Only my first video will tell.... back to work for me...
  • Work Work Search for Work and a messy apartment 2002-08-19 13:39:03 WEll i love my new apartment aside from the mess and the smell (I bleached this fucker down.) Right now I'm making XVID backups of all my anime dvds no sound just video so I can edit them at my leisure perhaps in a linux enviornment? Hopefully they won't turn out to be too lossy(you would think 650 megs for one episode will suffice heh heh) Anyhow I'm back to searching for employment to finance my hobby as well as my life style.... I'm sick of having to borrow offa friends.... I think they are sick of it as well

  • New Work, New Plan, New methodology 2002-08-17 19:31:17 Just moved into my new campus apartment. Pretty fucking sweet. Large and in charge I've already made a mess of it. On the AMV front I've found a something that I'd been missing.... a cinematographer. Someone with the developed creative talents that I haven't quite developed yet. A crutch as it were to help compensate for my current artistic weaknesses. Whether or not I develop any talent time will tell.

Right now I'm trying to capture scenes for several music vids I have in development (since they all involve eva I'm hoping for some overlap within scenes). I can't say much about the project since I don't know if it'll ever be completed I'll say more on it in the future in that regard but I'm hoping to portray a kinder gentler little EVAsaur.... I'm about halfway done with a tentative script (IE ripping guide)

    Ja Matta...

  • More or less work done and some thoughts 2002-08-04 19:53:18 I'm in the middle of an AMV that I doubt I'll ever release. Ever get around to reading Phades guide to making a good AMV? I'm sorta having fun breaking all those rules. Enjoying how often Premier crashes and capturing footage as I make my video i.e. Hmmm lets add this here and a little of this here.

Whats nice is that the friends that I've shown some clips to all think it roxxors... I can only find one guy who'll give me an honest opinion.

Anyhow my idea isn't as kitsch as Trunks and Vegita Fighting to Rock Music TM... who ever those people are :) (never saw that anime... couldn't say for certain).

Its Cowboy bebop style violence to unintelligeble Punk.... You know Spike and that hippie fromt he movie fighting it out... its a good practice in working out transitions and effects making an AMV on the fly is... Unfortuatly it is not good for anything else.... Like showing off....

Oh yeah depressing stuff happened to me... but I guess this is neither the time nor the place to discuss all that.
  • As seen in my Profile.... "The Search for Source" 2002-07-21 11:44:51 No not opensource software... I got that running on a spare computer... I mean anime source. I have a rather limited anime collection put to VHS right no. Not bad I suppose since I'm just starting out in this expensive hobby. But at the moment I lack the employment which makes purchasing commercial an easier affair to deal with. Ahh but to complain and whine without actually dealing with the problem....

Anyhow with employment comes the potential (To make bad videos from a wide variety of sources). Back to the hunt.
