- Mind and Body.....Awaiting Conversion and Compression 2001-11-09 10:11:40 Yes, after basically 2 DAYS of non-stop editing coupled with a month of preparation, "Rurouni Kenshin- Mind and Body" is almost completed. All that is left to be done is to convert and to compress this monster, and when I say monster, I mean monster. I'm not telling what song (or songs?) I used just yet, but maybe by the end of the day my excitement will destroy all of my will and force me to make an entry for the video. Oh the suspense :P

Yes, once again it has just so happened that my wing of the dorm was fined. But this was just not some ordinary fine, it was a fine to fix the lock of a door. And how much might this particular fine be you might ask? Oh, only a small FUCKING $1900 fine! I do believe that my wing has set some new kind of record for amount of fines issued and the biggest fine ever issued. I'm going to end up owing more money for fines than the damn tuition costs.
The biggest thing that pains me, besides the multitude of moronic individuals whom I am forced to live with, is the sheer fact that a god damned door lock could cost $1900 to replace. Is it it just me, or does anyone else find that this is complete bullshit? We have two guys going to plead our case to the head Residential Life guy today, but if anything, he'll just increase our fine because of the morons we sent. Yes, being the sole representative of rational thought on the wing left me in the cold when it came time to choose who would go to represent us. Wouldn't you know it, the two guys most likely to end up working in a McDonalds for the rest of their lives were picked. So basically, we're still fucked and will have to pay the money. I highly advise for everyone to avoid living in a dorm, you'll thank me for it later. -
