Woo! Long time no write!
2003-12-29 19:00:10
Got bored and cruised the list of Top 10% Videos. Turns out my "Blunder and Lightning" is #96 in Lipsynch o.o I'm duly surprised....
And so far, my newest video ("Evangelion: Better, Shorter, and Screwed Up") is getting good reviews. 41 stars and a 3.88 rating o.o

I hardly write in this thing anymore, now that I have a REAL blog.
But I guess my statement for today would be: I hate Mediaminer
Wanna know why? Go here: http://www.geocities.com/rachelthedemon Because I don't feel like typing the whole damn thing again *eyetwitch*

AWA Aftermath
2003-09-29 10:35:16
Right, like I can talk about the aftermath of a con I didn't go to. According to Roz on AIM, at least "Blunder and Lightning" got played and well received. I made people laugh! Yay!
In other news, there was a shameless One Piece plug in my morning class today O_O We were going through our MimerDesk posts, and one of my classmates' profile pic was a collection of One Piece chibis. Needless to say I could NOT keep a straight face.
As for today, I have to finish chapter 4 of my fanfic before I get mobbed, and finish up that darned digital rhetoric project for Wednesday. We don't have a lot of freedom on it, but damnit I WILL drag anime in there somehow. I have to make it fun or I'll be bald by Thursday.
That's it for now. Except if anyone has news on audience reaction at AWA to any vids from "Tornado Productions" (me!), please fling an e-mail. My address: tornadostudios@yahoo.com

Holy SHITE!

First off, I'd like to extend a very special thanks to T4K for helping a poor broke creator host a corrected version of her most popular video.
Arigatou gozaimasu!
Secondly, I never realized JUST how popular "Blunder and Lightning" got. I put in the Direct link to the corrected version on T4K's server a few days ago and already it's hit over 100 downloads O_O FREAKS!
Apparently, a lot of people like One Piece insanity o_O

Been there, done that

I hear ya, STB. Feel your pain, too. The only DVDs I own are the two I've saved up the money to buy ("Death and Rebirth" and the first release of FotR), and the three I've gotten as Christmas/birthday presents the last couple years (VHD: Bloodlust, Spirited Away, and End of Eva). If I buy ANY DVDs, it's usually at the end of the semester using textbook buyback money. And even that will only get me 1 DVD most of the time.
I have more important things to spend my money on. Like groceries. Which reminds me. I need to go food-shopping tomorrow =P I just thank my lucky stars I don't have a car to take care of.
