Just to let everyone know, Dvl-Productions has just recently acquired a blog, at first I was kind of against the idea, cause it seems like almost everyone and their mother's uncle has a blog, but after careful consideration, and a dare, Dvl-Productions now has a blog.

this blog will serve as a form of regular updates about Dvl-Productions, it's projects, and it's members. (even though that for now, I'm the only member Y_Y)

As of 4-09-08 Dvl-Productions will begin releasing our unpublished archived videos. The videos will be submitted once the creators of the videos are notified and respond with permission to release the videos. Also the videos will be checked for errors, incorrect information, and encoded in a higher format, depending on a few matters internally, I will most likely go with either H264 MKV or MP4. This will also depend on rules of the org. which will be reviewed shortly.
Also, just an update on the website, due to bandwidth issues and such, videos will NOT be available on www.dvl-productions.com, I'm looking into possibly going with making them into torrents, and hosting them on a tracker, if so, I'll post a new journal entry with the urls.

Now that the whole thing with Dvl-productions going out of business is over, I've decided to start making AMV's again. Unfortunately, for now, it will just be me making them but that will hopefully soon change, my first ~new~ video will be up in about a week or so.... I hope. if not then it should be up soon.... maybe. anyways, I'm back not that anyone cares, but that's fine. that's all for now

Windows Vista FRIGGIN ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I received a copy of the Windows Vista beta 2 customer preview, I the installed it on one of my computers that I haven't used in months. & let me just say this, this OS is much better than anything I've seen from Microsoft. especially Windows Movie Maker, it doesn't crash anymore, & if it does, it won't close out the program, you just get a little bubble on your task bar letting you know to save. one of the best things I like about it is that movie maker has alot more features than before, like DVD publishing, better effects & transitions, & faster importing. The only downside I see, is that you have to manually create clips, which takes about an hour for each 30 minutes of footege imported, but other than that, it's friggin cool.
expect to see some new videos from us in a week or two, we've been busy with a few things so haven't had much time to do the AMV thing.
