I finally found something that causes my CPU to hit 100% usage, using the program Fairuse Wizard to convert a DVD to footage. Glad to see my computer's not the invincible monster I thought it was, which oddly enough makes me kind of happy.
Also, possibly expect a blog post from me in the next day or so. No promises though

AMV Contest induced stress
2013-01-24 00:28:06
... SUCKS!
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I feel slightly better (Not really)
I swear, it's times like this that I wish I had more friends in the AMV community. (and before you say, "oh, well why not just make friends in the AMV community" it's not that easy for me, I have trouble actually conversing with people online, don't know why, I just do)
Anyways, hopefully the whole "I don't have friends in the AMV community" will be remedied with my going to Anime Conji this year.
Anywho, on to the main reason for this entry...
I've decided to enter the AMV contest at Sakura-Con. This'll be my first time entering a "big" AMV contest, and by "big" I mean one that most of the pro AMV editors enter, I know I probably have little to no chance of winning, but hey, maybe I'll win.

SERIOUSLY!?

I hate how someone will send me a message on Youtube saying like "hey, you should join my MEP" then when I tell them what part I'm interested in, they're like, "oh sorry, your editing style isn't what I'm looking for" It REALLY pisses me off

happy semi-late holidays!
2013-01-05 01:27:18
So, the holidays are over... for now and I'm getting more and more into editing again, (which makes me a happy AMV editor, and well, I've decided that 2013 is the year for AMV Contests for me, I plan to enter at least one AMV Contest a month, regardless of what the prize is, and one of my goals is to win at least one contest by the end of the year.
So, I figured I'd share my list of the rest of my goals in AMV making this year.
Enjoy
List of top ten goals in AMV making 2013 edition
10: Enter (at least) one AMV contest per month
9: make a new AMV once per month
8: Learn more about the mechanics of video editing
7: Create an AMV that looks exactly like it does in my head
6: Actively participate in an MEP
5: Host an MEP
4: Get 1000 (or more) views on an AMV on YouTube
3: Get 50 (or more) subscribers on YouTube
2: Make more friends in the AMV community (I have like two as of this post -__-)
1: Win an AMV contest by the end of the year

Made a new AMV
2012-12-13 00:14:52
So I finally finished my latest AMV, and I've uploaded it to Youtube, I'm still debating on whether or not I'll be uploading it to the Org or not, (Main reason not to is because it's 155MB and I REALLY don't wanna deal with converting it to a file that's a smaller size, plus I'm feeling lazy)
Anywho, here's the link:

Hope you folks enjoy it, I enjoyed making it
