Ranting time

Yo.Long time no see and no talk, huh?
As you can guess from my inactivity in the org, I have stopped amv making for some time now and I would watch only 1-2 anime per season since the quality has gone way down. Still, I continue watching amvs (the old ones, new diamonds are really hard to find, with some exceptions,eight Animated-kun? XD XD)
Free time is practically non-existent but I have grown accustomed to it. Making money is never bad if you can invest it on some days off with your loved one. We construct one photovoltaic park after another, thank god I have a job in a Greece that faces an unprecedented economic crisis with over 55% unemployment for young people.
Been to Barcelona a week ago, a beautiful city that dazes you with its architecture and life.Planning another journey in (hopefully) 3 months, the city will be decided on the spot...

Haven't writeen anything in a long time.And it's not related to amvs.
Couldn't sleep much today, woke up 1 hour earlier than the usual.The stress from work is killing me, wanna give it up and let it go to hell.I don't wanna work for 12 hours per day, most of my saturdays taken over by work and stress making me puke for a mere 800 euros per month.
Being 26 yo and thinking of all that,I'd say what the fuck went wrong?
It's even more frustrating to hear from people close to you that I am lucky because I have a job these hard days that Greece is passing. With 50% of young people unemployed, I sure am happy that I have a job. But that doesn't change my everyday schedule which pretty much is work-sleep...

Employment - New amv - Resident Evil Afterlife

Long time no talk,huh?
Well,for the last 3 weeks,I've been running like mad from morning job to afternoon postgraduate studies.I wake up at 7,leave home at 7.30,arrive at Vodafone at 8.45,start working at 9,finish work at 2,leave immediately for the Technical University of Athens where lectures for the postgraduate program begin at 3,finish at 9,go back home at 9.30,eat,waste 1 hour max at television or pc and then sleep.
Such a wonderful program for every Monday until Thursday.But this ends this week.Next week my contract ends and I have no plans of renewing it...
The job environment is perfect and full of people my age but my duties at the Customer Data Services are so damn annoying.Always complaints about bills,slow mobile internet connections,iphones 4 that need service (seriously,iphone 4 has a ton more problems apart from the thing with the signal loss), etc.
After next week,I'll be jobless but with a peace of mind.
On another note,I'll be soon uploading a new amv,the one I've been talking about in previous journal entries (Resident Evil 2 audio with Highschool of the Dead footage).I finished editing it 3 weeks ago (before things became too hasty) but I got in the temptation to make a stylish intro and outro so it'll take a bit more to upload it.Hope to finish it within the weekend...
Talking about Resident Evil,I watched yesterday Resident Evil Afterlife and all I could say is 2 things:
"WOW" for the 3D
"WTF" for the plot
The 3D scenes were spectacular,beats Avatar by far in this domain.But the plot,oh the plot.Having watched all previous RE movies,I didn't expect anything good about the plot (it's all about action and Milla) but seriously:
Chris being a soldier and being held captive because they don't trust him...
Jill becoming the evil blonde just like in RE5...
Wesker sitting alone in a ship and waiting to be pawned...
Well,it was a good watch nonetheless,mainly due to 3D action scenes and some lol moments. -
First greek editors meeting

Yeah,yesterday was a fine day.A fateful meeting...
Nikolakis,Animated and me finally met each other in person.I've met each one of them separately over the last 2 years but that's the first time we all met together.Well, Animated lives faraway from Athens (near Thessaloniki) so up until now that meeting wasn't possible.But now that he moved down to Athens due to work,we finally arranged a meeting.
Anyway,our future plans.Simply put,a greek mep.
But we haven't even decided on a song or sources so it's still a LONG way until we may really edit something...
And as it was expected,it looks like Nikolakis will be our sensei for this project.Hope you can deal with us,incompetent students,man!!
