    Concerning me now,I passed half of today with my new amv and the other half playing Civilization 4.And I'm thinking of watching a bit of Shakugan no Shana 2 now.

     
  • Shino,Offspring and True Tears 2008-05-10 12:41:29 Happy birthday Shino.^^

    So,the first single from the upcoming album of Offspring is out.Hammerhead it's the name and the song rocks hard.Reminds me of old-school Offspring.The new album comes out in Greece on June 14th (in USA on 17th) and I'm sure to buy it.

    Also,their first live in Greece is a fact.Being a fan of Offspring for 7-8 years,I couldn't believe my eyes when I read in their site that they'll be coming to Greece for their first live ever.Hell yeah baby,on July 8th I'll be in Malakasa to listen to them although I'm gonna be on exams period.Bought the tickets already.

    Finally,True Tears became the third anime to watch non-stop from the beginning to the end(after Berserk and School Days).I slept at 6am last night but who cares....Good story,real characters,very nice ending(still I prefer Noe,she was cuter^^) and roosters.I just love roosters as much as dogs so when I saw Raigomaru and Jebita,this anime became an instant success for me.^^

  • Update on last days - general respond concerning my last amv 2008-05-06 13:59:53 Some updates on these last days:

    1)Concerning the condition of my village,the outskirts of it are totally burnt but the inside of the village is in very good condition.Our house,being the very last of the village,was saved by miracle as the fire got next to the wood storage but thankfully,the wind changed direction the last minute.In a whole,the perimemeter of the house consists of burnt trees and very tall grass.Thanks to the heavy rains of the winter,it has grown huge in comparison to previous years.
    Anyway,I had a great time these 3 days I stayed there and I drank wine and beer like mad.^^

    2)I saw the movie Iron Man 2 days ago and totally enjoyed it.One of the few blockbusters I have dug in.Amazing dialogues,perfect special effects and CG,OST full of good songs and acting of high quality.Go watch it,you won't be dissapointed.

    3)Concerning my last amv with Claymore(Teresa's Legacy),I'd like to thank everyone who downloaded and commented(or not) on it.And because I got some weird comments on it,I'd like to respond to them:
    I know that the video is more suited to Claymore fans and I also know that the song is bad.But I cannot stand all those who say that the story is fucked up...
    If you don't understand the story,then go watch the anime.This is what happens when you try to understand an anime's story by an amv only.This amv is a tribute to a character made of 4 episodes.Do you expect to understand what's going on by only this few footage?And heck,I gave a description of the anime just for this purpose,to give you the general climax of Claymore.After that,use your imagination...

    Secondly, for all those who say "oh no,she got killed in the middle and then she's alive again - are you nuts?".Well,I didn't know that a fan-made video must go by time limitations.I gave all the scenes as to what exactly happened in these 4 episodes.If you cannot realise the order in which everything happened,then sorry but you're at fault,not I.Try think a bit more and find for yourself.I have no intention of giving the correct order of what happened in the amv,just like there's a correct order for Haruhi's episodes... XD

    All in all,there's a difference between "I don't like this" and "I don't understand this".If you don't understand the story,then screw it.Watch it just for the fun,the brainless action,the romance,the editing,the song.Do you have to understand something in order to like it?Can't you appreciate something for what it is and not for what you fail to understand it is?

    Sorry for being a bit harsh but that is my honest opinion.
    Starting to work on a new amv today,going back to drama romance ones.^^ 
  • Leaving on a short trip 2008-04-27 19:48:11 I'll be leaving in a few hours for my village to visit my grandparents.Haven't seen them for several months now and I also haven't seen the mess the village is after August's great fires in the area.Hope it'll be better than I imagine or else I'll fall in sorrow...

    Getting back on Thursday so talk to you then!!
