Finally weekend.
This week had a bit of everything - video games contests,live concerts,video editing,getting drunk but also a load of work.The new site of the Bank Of Greece is almost ready and we have our hands full with it...
Anyway,some things org-related...
VCAs 2009
Personally,I love Koop's Twilight.It uses one of my all-time favorite animes and gives a unique approach to it by mixing it with live footage.Thus,I won't complain for getting a lot of categories.Although it's more than it should have won... XD
No offense but giving Most improved to Nostromo is a laugh.Imo,he doesn't need this prize because he's already at an ultra-high level of editing.As for editing in 60fps,that's a matter of choice,not a matter of improvement.
This category was suited for Megamon or Cross/fade...
I'd really like for Run Shoot Slash Kill and Clan Warfare Pawnage to win their categories (best action and best original) but the public decides.
At least Code Ecchi,Clarissa and Festival of Life got the categories they deserved.
Same applies to Attack of the Otaku...
To sum up,I expected a 80% of the final results so no big surprises here...

97 replies so far with unfortunately a page full of spam.What's more,while I'm happy that our video has been watched a lot,I'd prefer the replies to not be so concentrated on the vid's name...
Firstly,because it's only a name and secondly because it is related with the video,as opposed to what people claim in their replies...
I'm not gonna talk here about editing and scene selection.That's up to everyone's taste and I won't argue with opposing opinions.Others found it boring and with ridiculous scene selection while others considered it a very good dance video with a wide variety of anime nicely mixed.
No matter what anyone says,I know first hand how much time was consumed on gathering this amount of scenes and how nerve-cracking editing with such a fast song was...
Finally,the amount of replies.
If I or SF_Phoenix has uploaded the video,instead of ScorpionP,I'm sure the video wouldn't have gotten more than 40 replies and it'd have no spam too...
Anyway,thanks to everyone who commented or/and watched it!! -

Hey man,let the people vote my bday video (aka Yuiichi's porn collection).It was a rather big surprise for me to see it in the semifinals even though the main reason of it being there is because of you. XD XD
Going back to me now...
First time I voted for so many persons in the semifinals.Last year I just voted some vids but this times I filled all categories apart from the best rookie,most helpful and best first video.Let's see now how it goes.Vote for nikolakis and SF_Phoenix!!
And after a long time,I have totally gotten excited with a video game.I had problems running Dead Space in the beginning but now it goes like a breeze and I'm totally hooked on it.Was playing it for 5 hours yesterday night on a rather loud volume although my parents were sleeping... lol

3 weeks without a journal entry...
It's natural though as work takes most of my time.There are days that I only get back home,eat and then watch TV for an hour or two and go to sleep.I've stopped watching anime late at night,I've stopped signing on msn and whenever I have time I tend to play videogames or watch movies instead of checkng up on new anime series.
I just expect for Gundam 00 2nd season,Clannad After Story and Toradora to finish. But OOOO, 2 days ago I began watching Ranma 1/2 after I went to Nikolakis' and had a blast during his birthday.Why did I ever think that it was a bad anime? So fucking old-school fun!!
Job-wise,things are good.The environment is great,I got my first salary yesterday and it's really something to know that someone depends on your work to complete his/hers.
Concerning AMVs,uploads are fucking DOWN.For the love of god,it's been over 1 month and things haven't progressed at all.I don't like complaining but it gets really frustrating sometimes.Thankfully,I have downloaded quite a lot of good amvs over the days thanks to the VCAs!! XD -

It's 3:30 am,I'm supposed to wake up at 7am to go to work but I'm here checking out the proposals for the VCAs.The weird thing is that I have already slept for tonight...
It's my first time doing it but due to fatigue from work and english classes,I fell asleep at 9pm yesterday and woke up by myself just some minutes ago. I couldn't sleep anymore so I decided to make up for sleeping so early yesterday...
Fucked up,right?
Anyway,VCAs.The best period of the year to check all interesting amvs you missed during the previous year and also to write another dvd with amvs.That'll be my 10th... -
Thesis completed, started working

Everything went well with the thesis presentation.I got a perfect score and I'm finally free of university commitments.Yet,I haven't filled out my papers so as to get the degree.I have time until then.After all,being a student comes with certain privileges XD
Started working on Monday at the Network Support Department of the Bank of Greece.I'll be there for the next 6 months.The environment is very good and my tasks are interesting but it's really weird to occupy myself with routers and networks in general just when I finished studying about wind farms,connection cost and energy...
Finally,I'm enjoying my new 24" monitor.Watching furry Horo's ears and tail in 1920x1080 is so fantastic!!And I decided the theme for my next amv which will be in HD of course...
