I hope everyone is having a safe holiday season so far! Mines is pretty good. Got some nice goodies from Christmas including a 2TB external Hard Drive. This time it's mac based so I can save things of any file size onto it whereas before I had to limit it to 4gb. Definitely a time saver where clip ripping is concerned. I got a new leather jacket from my aunt. It's hott. She also bought me Super Mario Bros. Wii. Haven't opened it yet, but I will tonight so I can play with it a bit. Will be nice to at least turn my Wii on in forever. Grandma got me a nice new sweater which I'll wear next year sometime. She also got me some lotions from Victoria's Secret which always smell nice :D.
It's my first day back today. 5 days off makes you pretty lazy pretty easily. No gymnastics until January 5th. The huge snow made sure that I didn't get to have class last Saturday. Bah humbug. That 18" was something else though. And the snow on my car made me really sad lol. I took it to the laser wash, but then took it to a real car wash soon after and the car now looks better than when I bought it!! It's pimpin', shiny, and sexy! -

HELL YEAH!! Managed a roundoff/back handspring in class Tuesday!! Even better, I did it EVERY time
but one out of about a dozen)!! Here's hoping my gorgings on holiday desserts hasn't made me weight a ton and be rendered unable to do them Saturday, barring we still have class of course... Darn snow storm could lead to a cancellation. Then I'll have to wait until the 5th when classes resume T_T.
Definitely no excuse to get no editing done now though :-/. It's been sooo slow going. I hope I can make the deadline...
Princess and the Frog was amazing. I am totally seeing it again with my free movie ticket pass!! Prince Naveen is the new hottness!! Phillip had a *really* good run though and is still hott, just not #1 anymore :P.
We're getting a real tree tonight finally, trying to beat the snow. We are going to put it downstairs to make sure that the cat can't get to it. Pine needles could puncture them if ingested, and the chemicals they spray the trees with are toxic. Aritificial is technically less dangerous, but I still am not a fan of having to clean up his puke with leaves in it :-/.
My big ticket gifts are pretty much another hard drive and a "super mario bros. wii" game. I'm getting less and less difficult to please. -

Supposedly for a shopping trip, but I mainly want to go to catch up with a few friends :-).
But first, it's Princess and the Frog tonight!! So excited and I can't wait!! It's what Disney hasn't been since the Lion King and I totally believe that. Took them long enough to figure it out though...
SFDHSKDJFLJFA!!! IT'S SO RIDICULOUSLY COLD OUTSIDE!!!! And leave it to ME to make sure that I get off one subway stop EARLY on the COLDEST day of the year!! I got in this office, warmed up a bit myself only to find that the inside of my purse was STILL cold!!! It was like a cold aura coming from it. Soooo bizarre.
Mr. Kitty is FINALLY using his pet bed. I remember when I could even get him to get 4 paws on the thing, let alone SIT on it. But he's sleeping on it and everything. Even my parents were like "holy crap!" when they saw it, lol.
Gymnastics is going well. I'm doing back handsprings unassisted!! No spotter, no barrel. I only botched one or two out of more than ten of them. The next step is trying to jump back more to cover more ground. At this point I am practically doing them in place. It's impressive, but not the intention lol.

AUSA was surprisingly great! And Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

I had a ball at AUSA and I really wasn't expecting to. It was really fun getting to see my friends, hang out with the editors, and even go to the rave (for like 20 minutes) lol. The Iron Editor competition was one of the best I'd seen. The first video came out looking unbeatable, and then the second one played and then I felt like we really had a competition on our hands! It really could have gone either way, but I'm more partial to "I'm On a Boat" than Beyonce :P. I wouldn't have argued either one winning though. Good thing I didn't have to vote.
Gymnastics is going well. I am improving on my technique with my back handsprings. I'm finally jumping back more regularly than forward (I know that's hard to imagine, but it happens lol). The only thing is that I keep piking on my way down. So last week, I would jump back into a hand stand and stay there a while in order to try not to pike. So now the job is getting my legs to whip down, which apparently is in the stomach muscles. I kept trying and trying. It was so funny because every time I would flip back into the handstand, I would be like WTF!!! My instructor was laughing. We all were because I just couldn't get it!! Hopefully I will in the next few classes.
First car note is due. That's a REAL welcome to the real world >_>.
Thanksgiving was good. I rested a lot. Didn't really get the drive to edit until last night though. Hopefully I have some more tonight :-). -

Adjusting to my new office. I'm definitely going to miss my window though, but things could be worse.
Still not really ready for AUSA. Not in the mood the cosplay. Not really in the mood for anything anime-related to be perfectly honest. I'm just glad I'll get to hang with my buds. Guess I'll bring my Claire Redfield for Saturday or whatever...
New car is going well. It needs to go to the carwash though. I'd rather just clean it myself honestly than spend that money taking it to the carwash over and over and over again.
Gymnastics is going really well. It definitely makes a difference when I go twice a week as opposed to once. Since I have AUSA I won't be making it this weekend (there are tournaments anyway so class won't even be held), but I do have a chance next weeked :-).

I'm actually not into Twilight at all (and I'm obviously a vampire fan), but it's kinda hard to resist all forms of the buzz. This is actually the height of it so I'm pleased :-P. Anyway, I must say that this is a pretty crappy "interview". He has about as much substance in his comments as Kanye West did in his apology to Taylor Swift. He makes no sense at all. Not to mention, he looks so awkward and unnatural. He isn't even looking at the poor girl. You'd think he'd prep as to *why* this movie/book is a good one, but he's drawing a blank. The actual fan does a better job at finding substance! I personally couldn't in any of the books though... In the start of all of this craziness last year, he did pretty much say that books were a piece of crap; but I'm guessing that he'd think it best to keep mum on the criticism of his gravy train nowdays.
