Yeah, I'm still awake. I haven't touched my new video project to Ayumi Hamasaki's EuroCDMegamix all night, even though that's what I kicked Ling out of the house to do. LOL It's been awhile since I rambled aimfully about my AMVs. ^^;;; My crack video is taking a hiatus, and the video I was working on simultaneously is now available for download (Behind These Golden Eyes) as well as another video that I crapped out not too long ago (Hostile Apostle.)
I'm appalled at how well Behind These Golden Eyes is doing here! I really didn't think it would end up as such a hit. I want to thank everyone who's downloaded it! THANK YOU FOR 100+ LOCAL MINNASAN! I'm very moved by this. Suddenly I want to make everything an AMV. LOL
I have a lot of ideas for vids to make when I get more footage. I want to branch out into Weiss Kreuz and Naruto AMVs. I still have a few Saiyuki vids to crank out though, if anyone'e horrible excited about that. My music genres are going to be very ecclectic and I hope that there will be something that will appeal to everyone. ^^;;; I found with Kelly Clarkson and 311 that while the videos were well-rated people had problems with the song for the simple fact that they were popular or unusual. Then again, I live with someone who made a Linkin Park video (I'm going to get throttled for that comment, eheheheh.) so I really shouldn't feel too awkward about people commenting on my music choice. ^^;;;
Me, Ling and Reiyano (formerly referred to as Nagichan, sorry imoutochan!!!) finally registered Zodi-ACK! Productions on AMVs.org! I wish congrats to my teammates and a big thankie to Ling! Couldn't do crap without her. ^^;;; *hug* Reiyano's been fiddling around with AMV making with WMM and actual anime footage (as oppsoed to gifs.... PLEASE GO CHECK OUT GIF FIGHTING!!!! IT'S HYSTERICAL!!!) She has an amazing natural talent that I don't seen in myself or Ling and I can;t wait to see more of what she'll put out. ^___^
*sigh* I should really either sleep or work on that video. LOL (Probably sleep... @_@) I'll be back soon with more AMVs. Next up (half finished) is another Kelly Clarkson VS Saiyuki! Hope you're excited minnasan!

Kon'nichi wa minna.
So yeah, my uncle invited me over to his house this past Monday (Memorial Day) to download AMVs on warp speed ('cause he has DSL and it usually takes Ling and I over 5 hours to download one video... >.<) It was a great idea and an amazing time for me. I had fast access to so many incredible pieces of artwork, and I enjoyed evey last one I downloaded that day. I tried to send opinions in on as many as I could and I had (have) every intention of opinioning ALL of them when I got them on disc and brought them to my home PC.... Well, things happen.
My sincerest apologies to everyone who's videos I downloaded this Monday. The files got lost on my uncles computer due to a bug he had in the PC before I got to it. The CD I burned the videos to was also corrupted due to the incident and had none of the data on the image. >.< I am in the process of re-downloading everyone's videos in order to fairly rate and opinion each and every one of them, and I greatly hope that does not severely disrupt anyone's accounts in particular. I know that my own AMVs.org account seems to be suffering from this. I had and overflow of ratings to be done when this occured, not to mention that redownloading everything causes the site to get rather bitchy at me with its "You did this already" and "KARMA" notices popping up everywhere. Really, I'm only trying to do the right thing! I'm sorry minnasan - gomen nasai!

Sandrock's Log 0004 - Bad Compy & Con Reports

Anime Boston and ACen are over now. I don't want to say finally, 'cause that almost sounds as if I didn't enjoy them, but life's been coming down on me really hard lately and even my enjoyment in anime is suffering. >.<
The first half of my crack AMV is completed, and the second has been started. I've got another AMV going alongside it, which would be complete by now if that second computer hadn't decided to be a pest. I already mentioned the crap pc that "amazingly supported" Windows Movie Maker - I take it back... The compy does NOT support Windows Movie Maker. *cries* I got through making an enire video to a song longer than a DDR song (that's the kicker I guess) and for some reason it won't register the command "Make Movie". >.< I'm gonna need to figure out a way to transfer all of my files or something... the video came out great as far as I can tell... I hope I can finish it soon minna... *cries*
In the frustration that has overtaken my life, I've found that running away from the world into a computer room, shutting off the lights, and focusing on music and footage and nothing else is really refreshing. I like having a new escape since all the other ones were kinda getting old and my online access has been shaky lately with Ling and I both in the house. I apologize sincerely to all of my online friends!!! I love you all so much and you all do so much for me and I'm never there for any of you anymore! *cries* I miss you!
Yeah, so I'm now discovering the incredible feeling of having a journal to rant in, even if it's mainly just about AMVs which only take up about 4% of my life right now. *sigh* I hope to produce more videos for you all to enjoy, minna-san! But until then... I need anime goodness to make me feel better. I'm gonna go download an AMV and webhunt for spoilers to Chrono Crusade now. ^_^

I finished up Look to Heaven for LingLKS and entered it into my videos. I really don't have the time to upload it right now, which makes me very sad. When Ling finishes finals, I may be able to steal the compy long enough to share. Please be patient, minna! @_@
In the meantime, we do have a second computer with the crappiest internet connection I've encountered in a few years. It amazingly supports Windows Movie Maker (and better than Ling's compy somehow too! *shock*) so while Ling's doing her finals thing on this PC, I've been downstairs clipping away on a new AMV project. Damn, this gets rather addicting after awhile, ne? @_@ It's a crack video. I look forward to completing it.
That will have to wait for a while though. I have two conventions approaching and need to pack and finish up costumes and such. LingLKS, Nagichan (I believe that's her name here on AMVs.org...) and myself will be attending Anime Boston and then Anime Central. I'm looking forward to taking in the AMV showings there! ^__^
Heh, I suppose that if anyone was really wondering who the three cosplayers of the Homura-tachi were in my Everything's Cool credits, now you know. ^___~ If anyone's dropping by either of those two cons and is interested in seeing the atrocity that is those three costumes, feel free to look for us. ^^;;;
Gah. I'd better start working on Nagichan's Kenren costume again. It will be finished really soon - even if then I'll have to face the fact that my own Konzen costume is, well, not even close. -_-

So yeah, I figured I'd pop by fast to check on how Everything's Cool is doing - as well as bitch a bit about the work I'm doing on a second AMV. LingLKS loves Gojun from Saiyuki... who shows up in the anime for 3 episodes, as a side character with little plot development... and usually in still frames.... *cry* I'm making her a video about him, but it's just not working out too well. I'm grateful to have access to Saiyuki Gaiden manga images and some rough translations that I can superimpose on them. ^^;;; I'm fusing the two types of media together to extend my scenes... but it's still just my second AMV and I think I may have taken a bit too big of a bite... ^^;;;
