- back on the amv bandwagon 2007-10-17 21:59:33 i find myself with all kinds of free time (that i should be spending on my lolita halloween costume) and using it to work on some AMVs i had already started as well as 2 new ones that i had been planning for a while. i still won't be getting to a couple of the older ideas for a while, though. hopefully i'll have at least one new one by ACEN '08.

<3 i was L, with light and misa from deathnote, mori and honey (my 9-yr old brother) from ouran, and... grandma.<3 it was fun, but i spent less money than i thought i would. i did find a delish ritsuka tee, though. i look forward to the next con right away.

to "girl and the sea": "you realize that if you don't put in the names of the songs you'll have a million people asking you about it, right?"
...... it's in the video information page. yes, the song is called "girl and the sea," and it is performed by the band presets (not that i made up that name just for the title of the video and that the song was floating around on my hard drive when i recieved the computer, making it a "preset"). exactly as it says in the video information.
if this person means to say that i didn't set aside a portion of the video itself to state the name and source of the audio and that people will ask me what it is, then my response can only be:
i almost never do that. and you're the first person to ask me about it. not everyone does that, either. in fact, many of the popular editors don't do that, simply because they never have, because they're used to using two vcrs and not a computer. a vcr won't put your name or the name of the song or the anime on the video.
also, sometimes i think that writing "anime: ------- song: ------- hope you like" in your favorite font and color on a solid background looks really ugly. that's why i only do that if i have a nice, long, pretty clip and maybe some extra music set aside. in the future, i will have released one or a series of original animation videos here, and they will have every single little thing cited. so if you like that kind of thing, just wait for it. ^_^'
