++| A M V - Journal View: Ezmereth Moriquendi

planning... 2005-05-30 14:15:36 currently, i'm attempting to tackle 2 gundam wing AMVs, 3 gravitation amvs, and a d.n.angel amv, and yet i currently lack the equipment necessary to obtain footage. all i'm doing is printing the lyrics to the songs i want to use and listing the scenes i want to use for each line or beat. if this is a useful method, then i can start work on 2 or 3 of my ideas immediately after i get footage. THESE WILL BE MY FIRST VIDEOS! YAY!
i am, however, still deciding upon which method to use for getting footage. i could get a capture card+DVD drive, or an input line to rip from DVDs. but, i also am looking at getting a digital camcorder, so i could simply use the camcorder to record from the TV. most will say this is unconventional and will result in very low image quality, right? but i read on someone's AMV information that they did this, and it turned out much better than if they had used their capture card. they could, however, have been ripping incorrectly. oh, well. all i know is that my experience in making an actual video is totally NIL. so i'll be lucky if i even get ANY video feed!!! but i'm not too worried about that. ^_^
