  • 2003-04-23 19:02:39 Ever read the Flame of Recca manga? No? Well you are seriously missing out. I am on volume 7 out of 33 right now, and reading obsessively.

    How the hell am I supposed to do any editing if every time I have free time I read manga? It is certainly much easier and more painless than lipsyncing... which is what I am doing right now, and I don't have a lot of practice yet... so very time consuming. I sooooo respect the great lip sync videos out there.

    I think probably that is a story for another day however.

    I have much better news anyway. I finally got promoted at work today! You are now reading the slightly less drab tales of Supervisor Ian!

    Cool stuff. I get up the ladder because they are firing another supervisor, who has been doing lots of dishonest shit, as well as being a generally shitty worker. Go figure.

    Now for me to go and spread a plague of video rental late fees across the land! 
  • I should... 2003-04-20 02:09:44 Well I did cut my hair extra short.

    And I decided to take a nap... but ended up just reading a bodybuilding book.

    Then I got a call from my friend Chris so I went over to our rich friend Marcus' house where everybody was and showed them AMV's (obviously) then sat around until their geekiness overwhelmed me and I fled their Ultima Online filled den (their living room looks like it came out of Serial Experiments Lain).

    Now I'm waiting to finish digesting my food before hitting the Gym. I am sooo tired, and sleep will have to wait a couple hours.

    Oh, and I'm processing some more VOB's for my video. YAY! Progress! 
  • 2003-04-19 16:45:00 Went over to my friend Erin's house late last night and stayed showing her the first 4 episodes of Escaflowne and the first 4 episodes of Nadesico. Then kept her up talking until 5:30 am.... although I feel bad about that now since it turns out she had to get up at 8 am... and she works today while I don't. Heh, whoops. Who needs sleep right?

    I should make another banner.
    I should work on my AMV
    I should rip some DVD's
    I should watch some movies
    I should I should I should.... I don't know. Maybe I'll cut my hair super short.

    OH! I got back the results from the doctor. Turns out the thing on the back of my neck really was just a mole... you know, just a mole that was above and beyond anything my doctor had ever heard of, looked like a miniature brain, and the size of your pinky finger's last digit, with its own blood vessel.

    Whatever, it's gone now, so I'm going to celebrate with super short hair.  
  • 2003-04-18 14:29:53 How hardcore am I? I just stuck a tablespoon of soy protein powder in my mouth and attempted to wash it down with orange juice. Which led me almost instantly to two conclusions.

    1. This was a horrible idea, all of the powder instantly solidified like fast acting cement to the top of my mouth, and it tastes Really Really horrible. In case you've never had a protein suppliment, it really isn't so much a powder as some sort of chalk.

    2. One tablespoon actually wasn't quite enough protein to last me the night.... so I had to do it again immediately afterwards. Which of course I did.

    Because I am hardcore.
