Words of wisdom from a non-profesional and a non-"top AMw creator" Part 2
2005-10-16 22:24:04
I've notice a few unusual AMVs out there. some were made for the creators to express their hate to a show or artist. Who knows, There might be some out there which are anti-bush statements. I find this really annoying. I have shows, artist, and other things in the entertainment industry that I don't like, just ;just like everybody else. We all do at one point in time. Rage Againts The Machine was one of the most popular political bands ever. But how much of an Impact did they make politicaly? If any, it was few. Their success was on their musical talents, not their political ideas. People are not here on this site to hear somebody complain about something they don't like. If you won't people to take notice of your beliefs and anger toward something, write it and put it on a message board or something. Please, spare us all.

Words of wisdom from a non-profesional and a non-"top AMw creator" Part 1

I start on a video project and I end a video project. In between those two points I work hard. I check for syncing to video by songs beat or emotion. I try to keep the video in some sort of order and sometimes plan it out;sometimes I just wing it. I finish the video, watch it and love it. What happens when I upload my pride and joy to this site? It gets a 2 star count.
Does this sound like you? It happens to me too. some feel like they have no talent when this happens. I, however, have a different look on it. I look at my own videos by my own standards, not anyone elses. If I look at my own video and feel it is perfect and well done by my own standards, other's critizism can't get me down. In fact, I'd find it stupid if they don't like it. When you look at other people's videos, look for what you like and not what everyone else likes. Use that as your guide to making great videos. And If you don't become the greatest or you become considered to be the worst by the members of this site, you won't care. You'll be happy that you've created something you enjoy to watch.

My dream come true.

I've finally finished the Pilot Candidate video that I've been trying to make for at least 4 years (most of the time trying to figure out how to get the video onto the computer). I hope everyone likes it. It is, and might always be, my best work.

Since windows movie maker is a piece of crap, for now, I've stopped working on the pilot candiate video to "krawling" and my mixed anime video to "it's going down".
However, I've started a flcl video to "1992" by Spoken; on the same program none the less. I'm having trouble because I have so little to use so some of my plans going into making this video aren't going to work.

PC trouble

I was working on latest vid when a problem developes; The program I use (WMM) freezes up. This constanly happens to me while working. It is getting irritating. Out of curiosity I open it with my project and then open the task manager to see how much memory it was using. To my shock it was using about 19,856k of memory just withouth the project and 41,780k of memory with the project. I'm no computer wiz but that don't seem right. I really need some advice on how to fix this problem. any suggestions?
